A lawsuit has been filed against Jon Moxley (Jonathan Good) by Christopher Dispensa, a production crew member for AEW who was contracted to the job through Broadcast Service Group. The suit was filed May 30th in Wayne County Circuit Court and notes he hasn’t worked for AEW since December 5th, 2024 when he was demoted to carpenter without any explanation. The suit alleges Moxley injured him on the May 10th, 2023 episodes of Dynamite during a cage match with Kenny Omega, which saw them have an “unscripted” brawl on the outside where Mox grabbed a screwdriver and shoved Dispensa to the ground in the process. The suit also alleges that he needed cervical fusion surgery, shoulder surgery and treatment for other injuries as a result. AEW has declined to comment on the suit and a status conference with both sides is scheduled for August 29th.

My first 10 years of my career, I was at the independent level, and it was mostly wrestling in front of anywhere from 100 to 1,000 people. I’d go internationally, but I just figured that would be my whole career. I mean, I’m five feet, eight inches tall, 190 pounds. I’m not your standard professional wrestler.”
Carlito made his first post-WWE appearance for Appalachian Mountain Wrestling. In addition in this interview he says Triple H was never a fan. “I’m one of the older guys, I’m not going to get prioritized and I’m not gonna get pushed, and Hunter is not a fan of Carlito. I think he personally likes me, but I think he was never a big fan of the character. What I did was, ‘I’m in the LWO, it’s the hottest group here, how can I stay in this group? Boom. This is what it’s missing.’ The writers were great, they gave me a bunch of freedom. They would come to me and say, ‘We have this backstage (segment), we don’t really have anything for you here, but we were hoping you would Carlito-fy it,’ is what they would say. I would find where I could do something. It took off from there and every week it was great. They gave me total freedom to do whatever I wanted.”
