Due to not being medically cleared Tiffany Stratton has been pulled from NXT Homecoming. The updated lineup for Full Sail University tonight is below. (WWE)

  • NXT North American Championship Match: Ethan Page vs. Tyler Breeze
  • Rhea Ripley, Lyra Valkyrie & Stephanie Vaquer vs. Fatal Influence

Via social media Keith Lee said he will return to the ring — he’s just not sure how. “You honor me. I appreciate you for that. All my gratitude. I’d like to take this moment to remind you, that you also, are boundless. Additionally, I’ll take a moment to reassure you that a return to the ring will certainly happen. Though I won’t posit how or when.”

From MLW: “The Opera Cup quarterfinals deliver a clash for the ages as two of the most influential luchadores of the 21st century collide: Místico vs. Último Guerrero. This is a bout so monumental it would pack 20,000 fans in Mexico – yet it will happen live in front of the greater Los Angeles area, giving fans a once-in-a-lifetime chance to witness Lucha Libre history unfold. Místico, the 2024 Opera Cup winner, defeated Ikuro Kwon in an opening round bout this summer to advance to the quarterfinals. Último Guerrero, a true icon of Lucha Libre, earned his spot by defeating Esfinge this past weekend at FIGHTLAND in the opening round. Now, the two pillars of Lucha Libre will stand across the ring from one another in a quarterfinal match that will shake the foundations of the Opera Cup. Can Místico continue his quest to repeat as champion, or will Último Guerrero crush his hopes and carve his own path to glory?”

Big Japan wrestler Takuya Nomura is taking a leave of absence due to kidney failure and the fact he needs treatment, which suggests to me at least that it’s probably a permanent leave even if nobody wants to say that. My best wishes to him.

The last SmackDown did a 0.37 and 1.316 million viewers, down from 0.51 and 1.585 million. (PI)

AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio will be at the AAA taping on September 27th.

Congratulations to Nigel McGuinness and his partner as they are expecting a child!

Marigold has announced Nagisa Tachibana is out for the rest of the month with a neck injury.

Jerry Lawler thanks everyone for their support: “I remember lying in the bed in the hospital and when people that I knew, like family members came in, and I didn’t even recognize them. People kept coming out of nowhere to thank me and prayed for me and everything and all of that means a great, great deal to me, and I wanna thank ’em all for all that.”

On Monday TKO stock reached a new record high of $212.49 a share, though in aftermarket trading it cooled off a bit to $206.39. (PWI)
