In this interview John Cena says trying to get him out of his in-ring retirement would be “financial suicide”: “I hate speaking in absolutes (because) ‘never’ is a strong word. It would be financial suicide for someone to court me in a position where I would have another match, and I truly mean that. So if you’re in the business of torching currency, that’s the only way to get me back in the ring.”

Janel Grant, Vince McMahon and WWE filed a joint motion on June 11th seeking to move their highly public lawsuit to private arbitration.

Limitless Wrestling was forced to announce Aaron Rourke is pulled from their June 20th show due to him having a WWE ID contract.

Rick Martel will be at the WrestleCon in Minneapolis for SummerSlam weekend.

Sareee was medically cleared to wrestle before she left Japan, but brought Takumi Iroha with her suspecting she wouldn’t be medically cleared by U.S. doctors. AEW did indeed decide Sareee was not cleared to wrestle, but opted to use Maya World instead of Takumi Iroha because “it just made for a better story” after the recent tragedy of her brother’s passing earlier this month. WWE is reportedly looking for “sponsors and TV deals” for the first night of AAA TripleMania 34 in Las Vegas on Friday, September 11th. Night two is two days later in Mexico City. (WO)
