In this interview Natalya (Nattie Neidhart) says she had dental surgery after TripleMania 34: “Last week at The Dungeon, I went to The Dungeon with 20 stitches in my mouth. I had dental surgery earlier in the day. I had some dental work. Something happened to me. Won’t get into it but, I had to go get my two front teeth fixed because, you know, Faby Apache hits really hard. {laughing} Listen, Faby, I love it and I want more of it. But, I had to get dental surgery on (the) front of my mouth and I had 20 stitches in the front of my mouth and two dental implants, and so when they put in dental implants, there’s metal that goes into the bone and it’s a very elaborate surgery. But I got it handled; I’m good. I’m actually cleared to work; whatever, it’s fine.”
During the latest AEW media call, Tony Khan talked about the Bordens: “Well, I first met Steven when he was playing college football. I don’t know, did you know that? If you didn’t, Steven played football at the University of Kentucky. He was a tight end and a very, very gifted athlete even then, and he still is a very gifted athlete. Several years ago, I actually brought Steven to Jacksonville and he tried out for the Jaguars. He’s a great athlete and a great guy. That’s the first time I met Steve’s father, Sting. I really enjoyed connecting with the two of them, and as Steven’s football career ended, Sting got back into wrestling. What a final chapter Sting wrote for his career. The final three years of Sting’s wrestling career were in AEW, and from Revolution 2021 to Revolution 2024, Sting went undefeated and had this incredible run in AEW.”
Thekla says her feud with Willow Nightingale may never end: “With Willow, we’re seeing a different side of her. I’ve been known to bring out the worst in people, especially with a huge smiley babyface like Willow is. It’s cool to see that ‘Fuck you’ aggression come out. I don’t like this bitch, and I’m totally cool with that. That’s the kind of energy I like. I think a little negativity, a little hate in the ring is good because it’s about conflict. It’s about not liking each other. I don’t love a good handshake before a match. Fuck that. Let’s make it messy. I think me and Willow, we might be a forever feud. That’s the kind of stuff I like.”
