According to the latest Being The Elite, here’s how Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks is doing following an injury at AEW Redemption: “So, I feel pretty good now now that it’s been what, two hours? I went to the trainer’s room of course, obviously. And so, I had to take multiple concussion tests and I passed, so that’s good. They said I definitely had my bell rung, and I had a lot of dizziness. The last PPV… I landed right on my head in, where was that? San Jose, right? I landed right on my head, and that that was not a concussion or anything. It was considered a whiplash injury. So, ever since then though, I’ve had these weird effects where I feel kind of like foggy, because of the neck. I didn’t have any like, vision issues or any of that. But today, it felt very similar to what I was experiencing last month. But now I feel a lot better. The doctor said that I’m probably not healing fast enough, because I’m not having enough carbs. Which is true, I’m having zero… and I definitely felt dehydrated today. So I think I’m partially to blame for that.”
Rhino talks about AEW coming to Detroit: “I’m born and raised (in Detroit), and the only time I leave is to go wrestle. And the next two nights of AEW wrestling action is at the Masonic Temple. Which I’m excited; I was a part of it last year, and what a crowd. I mean, the crowd came out, they showed up. A lot of the AEW stars are well-seasoned. They’re well-trained, and they’re invested not only in the product. And that’s why Tony Khan – he’s the owner, operator – he’s hands-on, he’s there. He’s making the calls, and is a great guy to work for. And he puts a product for families to go out and enjoy, so.”

John Skyler talks about being in the ladder match at TNA Slammiversary: “For me, obviously, selfishly, me and Jason put a lot of pressure on ourselves, and I don’t mind saying this: we were originally supposed to be in the Ladder match, and we were taken out, and we had to fight to get back in, and that was a talk that we had to have, and we got put back in. So we put a lot of pressure on ourselves on that specific night, with everything else going on in the company, to really deliver a great performance for us. But you’re exactly right, that Slammiversary show from top to bottom was the show that the company needed, and I think that’s always been the story of TNA, is that if all else fails, you can always rely on the talent to go out and hit a home run there, and that’s been from day one, you know?”
