John Cena

Speaking to Adam’s Apple, John Cena says aspects of his “Classic” are still being worked out: “Oh my God, I’m super excited. It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a long time and, again, we’re still working things out, and I like that. I like that it’s a work in progress, but this is absolutely from me. I can’t tell you how excited I am about it. I am fully invested in this. So, I can’t wait to see what it is. I can’t wait till we announce the date and location. And I think that’s obviously step one, and we’ll go from there.”

In this interview Mike “The Miz” Mizanin talks about reaching veteran status: “When I was coming up, I learned from the best. The best of the best; the John Cenas, the Randy Ortons. I got taught by Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Now, Cena’s retired, Shawn Michaels retired, Triple H doesn’t wrestle anymore, so I want to basically show the newer wrestlers what I learned from them.”

Tony Khan comments on AEW’s relationship with Jazwares: “I do think it’s possible there could be a change, and that could potentially be a positive change for AEW and the fans.”

Ronda Rousey says she pitched a singles match with Becky Lynch for WrestleMania: “I literally printed out a whole presentation for them, for me and Becky, the singles match. How we would do it, how we would plan it out and rehearse these things and have them woven throughout the show. To do something really exceptional and new. And then Vince and them were like ‘Oh yeah, this is a great idea, this is great.’ Then I went and had my baby, I came back, and they were like ‘Well, we talked about that a year ago.'”

Nyla Rose is competing at Marigold Shine Forever on May 23rd.

Stephanie Vaquer is expected to make her return to TV next week. (PWI)

In this interview Raquel Rodriguez talks about what she’s learned in WWE: “I think I’ve learned that I’m much stronger than I believe. I can handle a lot more than I think I can. When you’re out there in this crazy business, you’re on your own, young, growing up through this business for 10 years. It’s the longest job I’ve ever held, by the way. You really grow as a human, as a person, and you learn what’s important in life. For me, at least, my priorities have definitely changed a lot. I’ve focused more on my health this year; I’ve focused more on my family and my connections and my relationships that matter to me the most. That’s what really gets me through the long travel days and the long nights on the road when I miss my animals and I miss my family. But I’ve learned that I can do it and that I can stay strong. As long as I have my beliefs and my faith, there’s really nothing that can get under my skin these days.”
