AAA Triplemanía will be held on TWO NIGHTS for the first time ever! For night one on Friday, we have a stacked card ahead. AAA’s own GM Rey Mysterio will fight Omos in a match to determine if the latter will have his suspension lifted or be banned from AAA. In other action, the AAA Trios Titles will be on the line when Los Psycho Circus defend against Los Perros del Mal; La Parka defends his newly-won Latin American Championship against Laredo Kid and his friend Mr. Iguana; we’ll see a fatal 4-way match between Roxanne Perez, Faby Apache, Nattie and La Hiedra to determine the #1 contender for the Reina de Reinas Title at Worlds Collide on Sept. 26th; and much more! It’s time for Triplemanía live in Las Vegas!! We see the superstar arrivals from some of tonight’s competitors earlier in the daytime. We get a video package narrated by Rey Mysterio bringing up the history of AAA Triplemanía leading up to tonight making history with night one of Triplemanía. We see the Spanish announcers on screen who will be sitting at ringside, we see Corey Graves and JBL who are ALSO at ringside for the English commentary, and Lilian Garcia is the ring announcer! It’s time for action!
* Adelicious, Mascarita Sagrada & Mini Vikingo vs. Lady Shani, Mini Abismo Negro & Jack Cartwheel
The referee for the first match is Eddie Orengo. Adelicious and Lady Shani start the match with a collar-and-elbow, Shani does an armdrag into a cover for 2, they trade covers, Adelicious cartwheels, and Shani is down on the mat holding her face or nose halting the match as Eddie Orengo checks on her. The medical staff take Shani out the match to check on her outside the ring.
Mascarita Sagrada tags in. Mini Abismo Negro comes in, Sagrada with a headscissors, springboard wheelbarrow bulldog, and hits a tope atomico for 2. Jack Cartwheel tags in, Mini Vikingo tags in, they dodge each other’s attacks, Cartwheel with an upkick, both men flip into superhero landings, and they’re at a stalemate. They shake hands, shoving, Vikingo with a kick, knocks Mini Abismo down, Cartwheel comes back to sweep the legs, hits the Slam Stand slingshot elbow drop, and gets a 2-count. Mini Abismo sends Cartwheel into Vikingo, does an airplane spin slamming him down, Cartwheel with a running shooting star, and Mini Abismo with some mounted punches, a delayed vertical suplex, running senton, and covers for 2. Cartwheel tags in, Vikingo fights back, pops up into a hurricanrana to Cartwheel, and Mini Vikingo grabs his leg to prevent the tag. Vikingo kicks him off and makes the hot tag!
Sagrada hits a springboard headscissors, headbutt to the gut, springboard crossbody, covers, but moves when Cartwheel goes for a Twisted Bliss onto his own partner! Sagrada counters a monkey flip by Cartwheel into a headscissors to Mini Abismo, and delivers a delayed vertical suplex to Cartwheel, followed by an around-the-world headscissors to Mini Abismo! Sagrada tags out to Adelicious, side-steps Cartwheel as Vikingo kicks him in the head, goes up top, and lands a diving hurricanrana to Mini Abismo outside the ring! Mini Vikingo hits Cartwheel with a crucifix driver, Adelicious goes up top, and hits a diving crossbody onto Cartwheel and Mini Abismo, then Mini Vikingo hits Cartwheel with a tope con giro! Mini Vikingo gets MIni Abismo back into the ring, goes up top, hits a shooting star press, and gets the 3-count! WINNERS: ADELICIOUS, MASCARITA SAGRADA & MINI VIKINGO!
That’s unfortunate to see Lady Shani go down in the first moments of the match and not return. We get a few promo ads for WWE Money in the Bank on October 10th, and WWE Survivor Series: War Games on November 28th.
