Paramount is not going away without a fight. Despite Warner Bros. Discovery making it explicitly clear they plan to sell to Netflix and will not accept any other offers, Paramount filed a lawsuit in Delaware Chancery Court after being rebuffed for two separate bids of escalating value to make the purchase. The lawsuit asks the Court to compel disclosure of “basic information to enable WBD shareholders to make an informed decision” which implies their shareholders are being misled about the respective value of both Netflix and Paramount’s offers.
