Upper Deck is releasing a charity card for Rebel (Tanea Brooks), limited to an edition of 1,000, with all proceeds of her trading card going to I AM ALS and Team Gleason.
CJ Perry (Lana) has revealed how Rusev got injured: “It was the Intuit Dome in LA; he had a match against Je’Von Evans, and in the match, something happened and his arms went completely numb. He had to roll outside of the ring and the refs were thinking about calling the match. He’s like, ‘I can’t feel my hands.’ I didn’t hear this; I was about ten rows back, and I missed it, but someone got on camera and went viral on Twitter. The fans were debating and fighting each other because some were like, ‘He’s really hurt and injured.’ Some were like, ‘He just doesn’t want to lose.’ He took a couple of seconds outside, and when the ref was like, ‘We’re going to call the match. Your hands are going numb.’ Once he had feeling, he was like, ‘No.’ He rolled in and finished the match. Those rumors are not true when people are like, ‘He doesn’t want to put people over.’ That’s not accurate and not true. He’s always there to do business. He always fights for a good story. That’s how people get over.”
Scott Steiner wants to help the next time a Michigan game ends in controversy: “But when I tell you 141 and 2/3rds percents chance, at least you know what the number is. Xelina (f/k/a Zelina Vega) talks about the 25th anniversary of 9/11 where unfortunately she lost her father: “In a weird way, it still doesn’t feel like it’s been that long. It’s crazy to even say 25 years. I’ve had to really sit there and count it out, like, really? For me, it (the 9/11 anniversary) is about making sure my dad is someone I take with me every step of the way – family-wise and career-wise. I remember a match I saw at my dad’s house in 1997, so I was only seven – Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero at Halloween Havoc – and it just made me go, this is what I want to do. My dad was always super supportive of it, even though I was a little kid and people thought I was talking out of nowhere. But because he loved wrestling and wanted to be a wrestler himself, he understood it in a way not everybody did.”
