After famously “un-cursing” the Knicks, who gained a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals, Danhausen made a cameo appearance at game three. To give you some perspective on how long Knicks fans have been suffering, the last time they won a NBA Championship happened THE YEAR BEFORE I WAS BORN in 1973. Even my beloved Cubs have won a World Series more recently than that and their drought was twice as long (108 years to be precise). If they lose well this one at least they’ve still got a 2-1 lead and four more chances to close it out. EDITOR’S NOTE: Despite Danhausen’s cameo the Knicks lost game three 115-111, but at least he and WWE got some publicity out of it.
