After famously “un-cursing” the Knicks, who gained a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals, Danhausen made a cameo appearance at game three. At the time I’m writing this the game is only in the second quarter, but if the Knicks gain a 3-0 lead in the Finals it’s almost (but not quite) impossible for them to lose. To give you some perspective on how long Knicks fans have been suffering, the last time they won a NBA Championship happened THE YEAR BEFORE I WAS BORN in 1973. Even my beloved Cubs have won a World Series more recently than that and their drought was twice as long (108 years to be precise). I hope they get a sweep and end their woes in the most epic way possible. If they lose well at least they’ve still got a 2-1 lead and four more chances to close it out.
