Paramount has emerged the victor in the Warner Bros. Discovery bidding war after WBD deemed Paramount’s offer of $31 a share to be superior to the Netflix bid, which Netflix declined to match. There is already speculation that this is “bad news” for AEW and Tony Khan given that Paramount and TKO have a close relationship but I honestly don’t know how realistic or factual that assertion is.
Davey Boy Smith Jr. has recovered his father’s WWE Hall of Fame ring. Someone tried to pawn it and he was immediately contacted because of the high publicity surrounding the theft. In case you’re not immediately making the connection his dad is the late British Bulldog. Smith Jr. held the ring because his father passed in 2002 but his induction into the HOF came 18 years later in 2020.
