Former multiple weight class UFC champion BJ Penn was arrested again on November 4th, in what has seemingly been a long and never ending slide into negative interactions with law enforcement related to alcohol abuse, violence, or both. One MMA personality said this was “the sixth time since Memorial Day” which means just this year he’s been on a record pace of legal troubles, and it’s not like he’s kept a clean slate in the years prior. I don’t know who can do anything to help him if he doesn’t want it and is happy with his life going this way — it’s depressing to see it happen though.
