Levi Rigters vs. Antonio Plazibat to Headline COLLISION 8

Glory

Keeping in line with the history of epic heavyweight battles taking centre stage at GLORY’s tentpole COLLISION events, Levi Rigters (21-4, 11 KO) will take on the returning Antonio Plazibat (22-5, 16 KO) in a huge main event at GLORY COLLISION 8 from the GelreDome soccer stadium in Arnhem, the Netherlands, on December 13.

On the line is an official wildcard spot in the Last Heavyweight Standing tournament final, which will now take place in early 2026.

It has been almost two and half years since Plazibat was last in action. The 31-year-old Croatian star has been recovering from an arm injury since and is now finally ready to step back into the GLORY ring.

Originally scheduled to fight in the main event of GLORY 95 in Zagreb last September, injury prevented Plazibat from being able to step into the ring that night. Since then, Rigters went on to challenge Rico Verhoeven for the heavyweight title and has had highlight reel KO’s this year, including a spinning back kick KO win over Jamal Ben Saddik this summer.

COLLISION 8 will also feature two four-man one-night tournaments in the welterweight and light heavyweight divisions.

At welterweight, current GLORY world champion Chico Kwasi (45-5-2, 23 KO), former champ Endy Semeleer (36-2, 18 KO), former number one contender Teador Hristov (18-4, 7 KO), and a to be announced fighter, will make up the field.

Last Heavyweight Standing finalist Milos Cvjeticanin (16-4, 9 KO), 2024 ‘Newcomer of the Year’ Cem Caceres (19-2, 14 KO), ‘The Timebomb’ Michael Boapeah (21-5-1, 9 KO), and a to be announced fighter, will make up the light heavyweight tournament.

In addition, the remaining quarter finals of the GLORY Last Featherweight Standing will take place at COLLISION 8. GLORY champion & regarded at P4P best in the world Petch (174-40-3, 27 KO) meets German Polish fighter Denis Wosik (40-9-1, 9 KO), Miguel Trindade (63-8, 26 KO) and Bobo Sacko (79-6-1, 30 KO) will finally settle things, and hard-hitting Mexican Abraham Vidales (16-4, 13 KO) takes on Italy’s Achraf Aasila (53-13, 13 KO).
