Liv Morgan

Good news everyone! Liv Morgan’s stalker lost his appeal for a pre-trial release.

Wesley Eisold of the band American Nightmare filed an 11th hour request for the court to push back the date of his response to WWE’s motion to dismiss from September 12th to November 14th. As of the 16th they hadn’t ruled on his request yet. If it’s granted the new date for WWE, Rhodes and Fanatics to respond to his response would be December 5th. All of this comes as a “pending resolution” by all parties outside of court is still being mulled over. This is all because Eisold gave them permission to use American Nightmare in merchandise as long as it was clearly associated with Cody Rhodes “or other wrestling indica” and WWE started selling Cody Rhodes merch with only that phrase on it. If you weren’t already feeling insulted by WWE sending WrestleMania 43 to Saudi Arabia this news won’t help — WWE wants Wrestlepalooza to be their “secondary WrestleMania” for the years when WrestleMania is overseas. In fact they might have actually called it “WrestleMania” too had the Saudis not insisted they wanted the one and THE ONLY WrestleMania that year, and they would not accept any other event being called WrestleMania and making it seem like theirs wasn’t the real one. Zelina Vega is streaming with Twitch personality Cinna today at 3 PM ET.

Steve Maclin talks about the relationship between TNA and WWE: “It’s given us so many moments now that we never thought would happen, with AJ (Styles) coming home at Slammiversary after 11 years. We never expected that to happen, and there he was in front of a sell-out crowd in UBS Arena, New York, in Long Island. It was a moment that I won’t forget, and it was just so cool to talk to him behind the scenes and get to talk to him for the first time in a while. To see him back in a TNA ring, which we never thought would happen, but with that partnership, that’s what has happened, and it has given us a ton of exposure. Granted, Trick Williams is our World Champion right now, but I’m not a big fan of that as well. It has given us across the board, some great moments with Jordynne Grace when she was the Knockouts Champion, and then you have Joe Hendry in the Royal Rumble, Jordynne in the Royal Rumble and then Joe Hendry at WrestleMania and the crossover with NXT, and hopefully that RAW and SmackDown crossover at some point would be awesome for TNA to get that exposure but it’s also just everybody’s getting to know what TNA Wrestling is once again from that rebrand that we had about a year ago, over a year ago. It’s really cool to be a part of, just because I went through that boom in NXT, when it was happening in 2014, and it feels the exact same way.”
