Ron Killings

Ron Killings thanked the fans for their support on last night’s Raw, but also took the opportunity to let everybody watching know he won’t be taken for a joke any more, cutting off his braids live on the air and saying the era of R-Truth is over. (WWE) There’s a lot about the way this whole thing went down I object to, but this particular segment isn’t. I want to see the serious Ron Killings for his own “last run,” and for him to take that outpouring of fan support and turn a new leaf on his character and be even more of a star.

As seen here on social media, Naomi was at the 2025 BET Awards and she had her Money in the Bank briefcase with her.

Even though WBD announced they are splitting into two separate companies yesterday, there are no changes in store for AEW, thanks in part to existing contracts being in place. One company will be Global Streaming and headed by David Zaslav, the other will be Global Networks headed by Gunnar Wiedenfels. (FF)

It turns out Zoey Stark’s surgery took three hours and involved her MCL, ACL, and meniscus. Here’s hoping for a full healthy recovery!

The SmackDown before Money in the Bank did the best numbers the show has done in six weeks — 0.42 18-49 and 1.424 million viewers. The week before did 0.34 and 1.383 million. (PI)

Mads Krügger updates his MLW contract status: “I’m still with ’em. I re-signed last summer. I started back last January and then after a couple shows, they were like, ‘Hey, we really want you to come back and be with us’ and I was like, ‘Sure.’ Everything was going great, and I was really happy to be back and I like where things are going, the locker room’s phenomenal and we keep adding new people to that. It felt like a good thing to do, the right thing to do and I haven’t been disappointed a year later, and I’ve got another year and hey, doesn’t look like anything’s gonna stop right now. So, it’s going great.”

MLW has some news to announce but to me it reads more like a storyline than a press release. Ahem: “Salina de la Renta Named Vice President of Wrestler Relations. A commanding force in the sport since launching Promociones Dorado in 2017, Salina de la Renta has long been hailed as a trailblazer. Known for her sharp business acumen and unrelenting ambition, de la Renta brokered historic deals that brought some of lucha libre’s most legendary luchadores to Major League Wrestling, managing many of them to championship gold. Now, with her father César Durán assuming the mantle as President of MLW, the landscape has shifted – and so have the stakes.”
