On his latest livestream, Kenny Omega talked about receiving well wishes from Bayley after his diverticulitis diagnosis even though the two have never met. “Wrestling is a funny business and sometimes people only care about you when you’re useful to them. Not sometimes, most of the time. If, for whatever reason, you’re taken out of the game, you’re not needed. Who cares about you? Especially if you’re considered the competition, which is why I can say Bayley is an incredible human being. I’ve never met her. As far as I know, aside from the Xavier Woods’ of the world, I don’t know if there is a common thread there between us, but she gave me a message when I was going through my diverticulitis, hoping for a speedy recovery. That’s how you know a very genuine, good person, good human being. I could never ever say anything bad of Bayley and I would always stick up for her in any situation, even though it’s not someone I’ve ever met in real life. It meant a lot in that moment for somebody to reach out.”
In a post on social media, Anthony Henry said that both he and JD Drake (collectively The Workhorsemen) are “100% cleared” to wrestle again.
Will Ospreay talks about who he’d like to face at AEW Forbidden Door: “There’s so many. There’s one person I’ve never faced in my time, especially in New Japan, and I can’t believe it that we’ve never wrestlers each other one on one, is the current IWGP world heavyweight champion, Goto. We’ve been in a faction together but we’ve never wrestled one on one. Forbidden Door is coming up and if he wants a challenge, I would love nothing more than to try to regain my championship.”
On his latest podcast, Bill Goldberg gives an update on training for one last match: “I feel a little bit better, I’ve gained a little bit of weight man. Done a little kickboxing on the weekends. I’m getting there man, I’ve got a little bit of time left. Slowly but surely, Rome wasn’t built in a day.”

AEW Double or Nothing isn’t airing on Triller this weekend, but that’s not the only bad news for the company, as Triller didn’t file their 10-Q with the SEC on time. Companies that fail to comply are in danger of being delisted from the New York Stock Exchange and according to Dave Meltzer the financials of Triller are in a “bad state.” (WO) As of this writing their stock is trading for under a dollar a share.
