On a recent Twitch stream, Kenny Omega talked about changing his in-ring style due to diverticulitis: “Yeah, big time. I’ve absolutely had to change how I work. I mean I don’t. It’s probably something I’ll be able get in to a little on down the line in the future. I don’t want to get too much into it now, but wrestling is always a challenge, and what those challenges are will change as time goes by. We do the challenges, and what you see in the ring is sort of a result of how you tackle those challenges, like the match is almost the reward, and of course things can always go wrong in a match.”

There’s a new twist in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon. Vince, WWE and John Laurinaitis filed a motion to oppose discovery, and Grant’s legal team has responded to their opposition thusly: “Plaintiff requested a scheduling conference and filed a Rule 26(f) statement to comply with the rules of this court and avoid any prejudice. In the past, Defendants have rebuffed Plaintiff’s efforts to stipulate a reasonable case calendar without involving the Court. Recently, Defendants argued that Ms. Grant engaged in ‘undue delay’ because she did not seek leave to amend her complaint last year, notwithstanding that the government requested a stay of these proceedings after it was filed. As that stay of all proceedings in this matter has been lifted,, Ms. Grant is obligated to progress this case unless the Court rules otherwise. Plaintiff agrees with Defendants that the Parties should endeavor to conserve judicial resources. Ms. Grant is open to negotiating a reasonable discovery schedule – which she endeavored to do at the attempted 26(f) conference. However, Defendants’ blanket refusal to engage in the administrative business of this case is not sufficient to meet their obligations under the rules of this Court. The sweeping stay relief sought by Defendants here is unwarranted and should not be granted.”

Bryan Danielson re-affirms he has no desire to wrestle right now: “I have no inclination right now, and no desire to wrestle right now. The last six months of my career built up to that I actually, I look at it now as a blessing. Because the six months leading into my last match were so hard and my neck was so bad. And, I mean, there’s things that I couldn’t physically do, right? When the last match came against, against Moxley, I was ready. And that’s a good place to be, because when I was forced to retire before, I didn’t want to be retired. I kept fighting internally and outwardly to to come back. Now I’m at peace with it. And I don’t know if I would be so at peace if I hadn’t been hurting as bad as I was the last six months.”
