Speaking to Good Morning Football, Seth Rollins says Steve Austin is the reason he and Becky Lynch have a daughter: “Stone Cold is the reason I have a daughter. Flashback, March 2020. Everybody knows, COVID shuts down the world, right? First show post-COVID, post-shutdown, it’s 3:16 RAW, customary for somebody to drink with Stone Cold in the ring. At the time, the hottest thing in professional wrestling was my wife, The Man Becky Lynch. She happened to break open one, two, three, four cold ones with Stone Cold at the end of RAW that night, and she was like, ‘You know what? I think it’s time to take some time off to have a baby.’ I don’t think she ever would’ve made that decision if it wasn’t for Stone Cold Steve Austin. So absolutely, ‘Hell Yeah! Slam ’em back!’ Steve-O, you’re the man!”
Gail Kim has released a statement on her TNA exit: “I Just wanted to say thank you to the fans, friends and especially my peers for all the support you have given me over the last few days. I’ve received such an enormous amount of love and it really has helped process this change for me. More than anything I am grateful for all the years and opportunities I was given to help build something I always dreamed of. The KO division is and will always be my heart and all the women who were a part of it. Thanks to the incredibly hard working and passionate TNA talent & crew that I have had the pleasure of working with. This will not end my passion or my love for wrestling and this is not the end of Gail Kim in the wrestling world. You don’t put in 17 years in one company and stop when you are this passionate. I look forward to sharing my journey and am taking some time for myself and prepare for what’s ahead. Looking forward to the future. THANK YOU and one last thought… More women in leadership roles. Not less.”
In this interview Saraya f/k/a Paige teases a possible WWE return: “You know what, this came up so much at my signing yesterday. I didn’t realize, I always have this insecurity I guess where I feel like people just don’t give a crap about me {laughing} and I have to be reminded of it all the time. I really do. I really do. But I get so many people wondering if I’m gonna go back there. I’m just like, I don’t know. I don’t know. Maybe if there’s something cool that comes along and they would want me back there. Maybe. Who knows? Who knows what the future holds? Never say never.”
In another interview Saraya says she wanted to lose the title to Toni Storm: “I wish I would have dropped it to Toni in California, which is something I really wanted to do. I thought it was a huge deal and she’s a growing a babyface, she was the biggest babyface in the company, even now. The only thing I wanted to be different was that one thing where I wanted to drop it, and I wanted to drop it to Toni. Either way, I’m glad it got to her. I’m not complaining.”
