We’re sad to report that Mike Rotunda has entered hospice care. He and his brother-in-law Barry Windham (as U.S. Express) were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame last year, and you are well familiar with his sons Windham Rotunda (RIP Bray Wyatt) and Taylor Rotunda (Bo Dallas/Uncle Howdy). My best wishes to all of his fans and to his extended family with the hope that with whatever currently ails him, his stay in hospice will make him comfortable as he transitions from this world to the next.
MLW has announced Killer Kross vs. Matt Riddle for their Don Gato Tequila show. “Two of the sport’s most dangerous fighters will collide when Killer Kross returns to an MLW ring for the first time in three years to face the unpredictable and unapologetic ‘Rude Dude’ Matt Riddle. Once training partners, now potential rivals, this showdown promises to be one of the most anticipated and heavy-hitting battles in MLW history.” That event takes place 11/20 at Charleston Music Hall in Charleston, South Carolina.
2 Cold Scorpio’s assault trial is scheduled to start November 3rd. He was arrested for stabbing a man he got into an altercation with while working at a Love’s Travel Stop as a security guard last June in Kansas City, Missouri.
After a lot of people got fooled by a fake AJ Lee account on social media, the real AJ Lee spoke up to let everyone know she only has two accounts – one on “X” and one on Instagram she linked to in her post. If you see anything else, it’s not her.
John Cena’s final Raw at MSG will be November 17th.
AEW will hold a special edition of Dynamite on December 31st called “New Year’s Smash.” Interestingly enough (for me at least) it will be in Ralston, Nebraska at First Liberty Credit Union Arena. I was in the same venue for the infamous Dynamite earlier this year where Adam Copeland suplexed Jon Moxley onto a bat with spikes nailed into it. I don’t think they can top that if I go again and if I’m being perfectly honest with you I hope they don’t TRY to top it.
