Tonight is the first Dynamite after Forbidden Door in London, which was probably the greatest filler PPV of all time! I mean that completely seriously, too. It’s also the first Dynamite of AEW’s residency at the 2300 Arena, better known to wrestling fans as the ECW arena! Darby Allin will face Claudio Castagnoli in a Falls Count Anywhere Match, while Jon Moxley takes on Daniel Garcia. We’ll also hear from the new Tag Team Champions after their delightfully surprising title win on Sunday!
Dynamite opens with FTR hitting the ring. AEW is being incredibly not subtle about setting up the arena like the old ECW setup. Dax tries to get his mic to work, then says Forbidden Door was a miscarriage of justice, because he was pinned by the illegal man. They then confront the referee, then demand that he admit he was wrong and reverse the decision. The ref says he can’t do that, and Stokely starts insulting him, accusing him of only doing it to pander to the fans. They get into a poking match, Stoke shoves the ref, and FTR block any response. Adam Copeland then comes out, turns around to look for Christian, but doesn’t see him. This turns out to be only because Christian is already in the ring. He hits Stoke with the Killswitch, sparking a brawl until security pull everyone apart. Christian grabs a mic and says it’s time for him to live up to his end of the bargain. He’s about to go after FTR’s dead fathers, until Copeland stops him, but then hands Christian back the mic when the crowd objects. Copeland then announces that the match is official for All Out.
In a video package, Darby Allin says he meant it when he said he was coming to take everything from Moxley, and he’s just taken the title so far. He talks about how climbing Everest made him realize how fragile and short life is, and through that, how much Moxley has taken away from others. He says he’s finishing the job at All Out.
