Rigters & Ben Saddik Separated at GLORY 103 Weigh-In

Glory

GLORY 103: Last Heavyweight Standing weigh-ins took place on Friday morning in Amsterdam and all athletes, including the sixteen heavyweights participating in Phase Two of the Last Heavyweight Standing, stepped on the scales and came face-to-face one last time ahead of fight night.

Former heavyweight title contenders and GLORY superstars Levi Rigters (19-3, 9 KO) and Jamal Ben Saddik (38-10, 29 KO) clashed during their heated face-off and had to be separated by security. They will collide in a huge showdown in the main event this Saturday in a fight years in the making.

Among the other notable fights in the Last Heavyweight Standing tournament, the always exciting Ionut Iancu (31-11, 13 KO) takes on top Serbian heavyweight Rade Opacic (21-7, 16 KO), fan favourite Nabil Khachab (29-6-1, 4 KO) meets the UK’s Nathan Cook (7-3, 6 KO), and the always exciting Milos Cvjeticanin (13-4, 9 KO) faces man mountain Colin George (24-13, 22 KO).

The eight winners of the Last Heavyweight Standing fights will advance to form two four-man tournaments at GLORY 104 on October 11 and, from there, the two tournament winners of which will then qualify for the end of year grand finale.

In the co-main event of the evening, Chico Kwasi (44-5-2, 23 KO) puts his GLORY welterweight world title on the line against Mehdi Ait El Hadj (35-4-2, 8 KO), who is undefeated in GLORY at 4-0.

GLORY 103 will also feature the return of Mory Kromah (34-3-1, 20 KO) who looks to build upon his insane win over Bahram Rajabzadeh at GLORY 100 which captured the attention of the Rock, Snoop Doog, Anthony Joshua and fight fans worldwide. He takes on ‘The Gladiator’ Cristian Ristea (44-26, 13 KO).

Lastly, local rivals Don Sno (6-2, 3 KO) and Tayfun Ozcan (87-11-3, 28 KO) will settle their beef after both fighters have been vocal about the other online since their fight was announced.
