In her latest blog Mercedes Mone reflected on facing Athena in Boston: “I still remember the excitement when Sara Del Rey told me Athena had signed to NXT. I was eager to one day share the ring with her, and finally, that dream became a reality at this incredible event. Let me tell you, this match was one for the books! Athena is a powerhouse, and after stepping back from the curtain, all I could think was, wow! Imagine the incredible stories we could tell if we had a pay-per-view match together. That’s something I can’t wait to build towards in the future. And while she’s rocked that ROH title for over 800 days, I can’t help but think how great it would look around my waist.”
Via social media Shotzi Blackheart says she’s ready for whatever comes next. Okay. I just hope that means her kicking ass and taking names.

Shane Helms pays tribute to the late Matt Anoa’i (Rosey): “Winning the WWE World Tag-Team Championships with Rosey was my favorite championship win of my career. We were thrown together with very little planning, promise or push but we ignored that and busted our asses to make it work. They could (and often would) put any vanilla ass Heels against us and the crowd would still be into the match. It got to a point where the office couldn’t deny it anymore despite some of the old-heads not understanding the gimmick AT ALL. Wait, you can be funny and be a really great wrestler too?? What a novel idea right? RIP Matt, I miss you dude and I’ll never forget our talk after this match! We f’n did it!!!”

Dominik Mysterio mocks Rey Fenix and Penta joining WWE: “It took them long enough, right? We have 12, 13 guys with masks on. It doesn’t even matter. They all hide their faces. I’m a good-looking dude. I don’t need to wear a mask. If you go back to that WCW Eddie segment where he de-masks everyone, there is a reason these guys wear masks. They are all ugly. I could give a shit about Penta and Fenix. They are all fossils at this point compared to me. I already beat Penta. I beat Penta on the biggest stage of them all. I got into Monday Night Raw and I beat him again. I am the greatest luchador and Mysterio of all time. These guys aren’t on my playing field.”
Jon Moxley has now been the World Champion for over 200 days. (AEW)
Will Ospreay talks about imposter syndrome: “I didn’t have enough money to even afford a gym membership. I struggled so hard with imposter syndrome because a lot of the times, I would be the chosen guy to wrestle a lot of these imports in RevPro. I wrestled Matt Sydal and AJ Styles, and I struggled understanding who I was. And as soon as that match was done, I had the New Japan guys and the office all come up to me and said ‘We’re going to bring you in for the Super Juniors.’ I always wanted to do the Super Juniors. It was like a mad crazy thing.”
