In this interview John Cena talks about the idea of doing a movie with The Rock — noting he would like it but won’t force it into existence: “Dwayne and I have talked about creative business that we have together. When I see him, it is literally a genuine – it’s not the, ‘Hi, you doing?’ It’s, ‘Let’s take a second.’ And like, ‘Hey man, this time you said hi to my wife. I really need you to know that meant a lot.’ And then we’ll have a conversation about that, and he’s very giving with his time, very sincere, and very present. And I don’t want to bug him down with, ‘And yo, man, I got this pitch.’ You know what I’m saying? My perspective is that the individual doesn’t seem like he gets a lot of time to himself. And when he’s giving enough of his time to be present with me, the last thing I want to do is hand him a pitch deck.”

LA Knight says it’s “do or die” for him tonight: “That’s a hell of a question because if I don’t come out of this one with it, I really don’t know where there is for me to go. Kind of in a way, it looks like it’s do or die for me personally. Maybe other people have a different view of that. But I mean, at this point, we’re three years deep on this deal. I’ve been on main roster now as LA Knight for four years. Three years ago, things just went absolutely insane and built up to such a pitch that it’s insane that it’s been continued on for this long. But if I don’t reach that pinnacle at this point, I honestly don’t know what’s left or where there is to go.”
