Speaking of AEW, they’ve announced a “Summer Blockbuster” episode of Dynamite for June 11, 2025 in Portland, Oregon — a four hour event.

Cody Rhodes talks about his future potential in Hollywood: “So many wrestlers will answer this and say, ‘No, never. I’m always going to be wrestling. I love it so much.’ I do. I love wrestling and it’s all I’ve ever done. I grew up in wrestling, but for me, I really am looking forward to what it’s like to tell stories not just in the ring. For me, absolutely.”

Joey Janela says people don’t understand deathmatches: “People still don’t get deathmatch wrestling. They think it’s just blood and glass, but it’s not. It’s art. It’s storytelling. It’s pain with purpose. Guys like Sabu made it mean something. So if I have to bleed to help him close the chapter the right way, I’ll bleed.”

Jeff Hardy on which tag teams he wants to face: “Right away, what comes to mind is #DIY. I’ve been watching those guys. Also, a match that never happened, I don’t think this match has ever taken place, is the Hardys versus the Motor City Machine Guns, you know, because when I think about them, I think about old TNA days, when it was Beer Money versus those guys, and then they would tear it up. It was great. But yeah, those two teams popped in my head.”

AEW has reportedly released Sarah Stock (a/k/a Dark Angel or Sarita) from her role as a producer and coach. (FF)

Paul Heyman on where his loyalties lie: “I am loyal to my Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. I am loyal to my best friend, CM Punk. Just because I’m loyal to both does not mean I’m going to be disloyal to either. Loyalty is meant to be tested. I can be loyal to both and never be disloyal to either. And every day there is a temptation and the opportunity to be disloyal. Which is why the loyalty of the ‘Wise Man’ runs deepest and most passionate of all.”
