In this interview Swerve Strickland talks about collaborating with Raekwon the Chef from the Wu-Tang Clan: “Raekwon showed up, and I was hearing back in AEW that we were supposed to do a collab with him years ago, but it fell through. I was like, ‘I’m gonna go ask him about that.’ That Friday, I stayed in New York and we were in the studio. Rest in peace Profit, who did the production on it. I’m glad we debuted it at Full Gear in November. He passed away in January. He at least got to see it in the arena. We had the beat and I was like, ‘I have a idea.’ I went in the booth and rapped in front of Raekwon. He was like, ‘I wasn’t expecting all that. You do this. You do this for real.’ He was expecting wrestling rap. I’m an artist. He gave me that stamp.”

According to her Instagram profile Aria Bennett has left WWE. Real name Ajiea Lee Hargrave, she is a former NCAA All-American and signed with the company in 2024, but hadn’t wrestled anywhere since an EVOLVE show airing April 23rd, 2025 and had surgery for a torn ACL later that year.
