In this interview TNA President Carlos Silva defends his decision to pull TNA wrestlers from indie events where they would have faced AEW wrestlers over WrestleMania weekend: “It was super tough. All of these business decisions are tough. I don’t like being called a little bitch on social any more than anyone does. But it’s okay, yeah you do take the goods with the bads, and you’ve gotta make some hard decisions. My job sometimes is to make hard decisions. For the fans and all of you and Mike and our locker room, we’re gonna make decisions that are good for TNA. It was my decision, and I take full ownership. Look, we’ve got a great team, and we talk about these things together, but sometimes, I’m a guy that has to make that decision, and then you move on. You go to work the next day, and you work hard again and get stuff done.”
The official WWE NXT account on X revealed four new “rookie class” members — Alyssa Daniele, Garrett Beck, Nicholas Panicali and Zoe Hines. And yes if you haven’t already heard Hines is the niece of the “brain worm” addled Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Speaking of NXT, this fall Roku will have “next day” streaming of CW shows including WWE NXT, while “same day” streaming of CW’s sports programs will be on ESPN Unlimited. That’s how you split up a pie to sell as many slice as possible and rake in EVEN MORE money, as if TKO wasn’t greedy enough.
