After erroneous reports surfaced that Brody King was blocked from appearing on Dynamite this week due to “fuck ICE” chants last week, Warner Bros. Discovery took the unusual step of issuing a statement on the matter. “Warner Bros. Discovery did not have any involvement in Brody King’s upcoming AEW schedule. Any speculation to the contrary is categorically false. Brody is scheduled to appear during the next AEW event, which will air this Saturday on TNT and HBO Max.”
If you’ve seen her on AEW programming you already know the name — if not just know that Promise Braxton is getting a WWE tryout and Nattie Neidhart has already endorsed her. My own would be that she lives up to her name — she has a lot of promise and would do well if they see it too. Valentina Rossi, Ricky South, Nikki Blackheart, Airica Demia, Notorious Mimi and Fallyn Grey are getting tryouts as well.
Speaking of Nattie she talks here about bringing her new persona to WWE: “I’m so grateful that I’m getting a chance to use my real name. That is a very big deal. It’s not lost on me the effort and time that they are taking to let me realize this dream that I have. That I want to be called Nattie, and I wanted to have a different energy and vibe. A big part of that is Triple H seeing that vision with me. He wanted me to have new entrance music and a new entrance. He wanted me to use my real name. He wanted me to take everything I built on the outside of WWE and bring it to the company. For me, it’s also important to have gratitude. There is a ton we could bitch about every day and every week, but there is a ton to be grateful, too. I’m so grateful I’m getting to do that.”
