Speaking to TV Insider, Tony Khan talked about MJF returning for Worlds End: “The return of MJF, Maxwell Jacob Freedman who had been clinging to this opportunity that he earned in AEW All In Texas for a contract to challenge for the championship. I made it clear to properly advertise and prepare for these shows and deliver world championship matches at the highest level. There needs to be, and has been given, proper notice.”

They’re even calling out Netflix for failing to provide full transparency about how they would structure debt as the owners of WBD. This is the pro wrestling equivalent of corporations cutting promos about who should be the world champion.
