There’s a hearing scheduled for this Thursday (8/20) at 10 AM ET in the U.S. District Court of Connecticut for the lawsuit filed against WWE over misleading customers about PLE availability when they claimed the shows would be available “at no extra charge” to ESPN subscribers, only for the plaintiffs to have to pay extra for ESPN Unlimited to gain said access. ESPN and BAMTech (the technology provider for the streaming) filed motions saying those subscribers should be bound to arbitration by agreeing to the terms of service WHEN they subscribed to Unlimited.
