Speaking to James Stewart of Stick to Sports, Tommaso Ciampa talked about not missing out on opportunities in AEW: “My biggest goal, and I said it to Tony early on, is that I just want to check off the checklist. I feel like I spent the last ten years, specifically when I was on the main roster, where I had this checklist, and I never felt like I checked it. I worked with AJ Styles on a couple of live events, once on television. Never worked with Sami Zayn outside of live events. Never did stuff with Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, or Roman Reigns. The list goes on with people that I never crossed paths with on TV. I was like, ‘these are just missed opportunities.’ As a performer, you want that and want to share the ring with people who at that elite level. That’s how you continuously progress. I felt like I didn’t get a lot of those the last four years.”
In an interview with ESPN, Alexa Bliss talked about her arm injury: “Jade got me. She bent my elbow backward with a chair, which is fine because I have bendy elbows, but it went a little too far, and when she slammed the chair, I think there is a bone chip, and this ligament is a little overstretched. It’s sore, but it’s more of an inconvenience with how bulky (my brace) is. It’s keeping things in place; it’s healing fast, and I’m hoping it’s just a couple of weeks and we’re good.”
On his latest podcast Jim Ross said he still hopes to go to All In at Wembley Stadium despite his upcoming brain surgery: “I hope so. I’d love to do that. I have my sights set on the UK and Wembley. You know, that’s a big event, and it’s a good trip. It’s a non-stop flight. I enjoy that opportunity, so that’s kind of where I’m setting my sights. I got that big two-day appearance coming in Minneapolis soon. That’s going to be fun.” Speaking of which AEW announced a Fan Fest for the show.

Speaking to PWInsider, Mark Davis talked about the difficulties he’s overcome: “I think with anything, this is a very demanding industry, it’s a very demanding job. You’re gonna get, you’re gonna get injuries, you’re gonna get banged up along the way. I had a few, unfortunately, kind of just very soon after coming into AEW. And they were very gracious in allowing me to take the time to heal, the time that I needed. But I guess for me, there was quite a lot of almost ‘Ah, so close, so close.’ Like nearly winning the AEW Tag Team Championships with Kyle Fletcher, and then I dislocated my wrist mid-match. We fought through, we still lost. And then it’s it’s a difficult thing to just stop. It’s ‘Okay, you gotta take stock of where I am and try and rebuild from here.’ And, so there has been a couple of little ones along the way. I’m just very grateful, I guess that inside of it all, a lot of being able to just work and team regularly with Kyle Fletcher, who’s a little brother to me, and getting the support from Don Callis, getting the support from AEW, being able to work my way back into contention for singles gold and, capture it. It’s a cool feeling, man. It’s pretty good.”
