Another huge batch of WWE releases just occurred. The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been released — apparently a mutual decision as opposed to being caught off guard. Big E is still with the company as an announcer/commentator but as a stable the group no longer exists. JC Mateo (formerly Jeff Cobb) is gone. Tonga Loa (f/k/a Tanga Loa) is also gone. 25 year veteran television producer Gavin O’Shea was released and apparently caught off guard by it. (PWI)
MJF seems to be teasing New Day coming to AEW after the 90 day no compete expires on social media and people in AEW are “very excited” about the idea. (PWI)

I’m sad to report that professional wrestler Rebel (Tanea Brooks) has announced she’s been diagnosed with ALS, colloquially known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. If you’re not already familiar with ALS it’s a terminal diagnosis — it never gets better, only worse. My thoughts are with her at this difficult time.
Ash by Elegance (Dana Brooke) had surgery yesterday. Best wishes to her too!
