Brock Lesnar, Nikki Bella, R-Truth, Andreas Hale, TNA, Qatar, WWE Raw, TKO, CM Punk – Monday’s Latest Pro Wrestling News for April 20th, 2026 (Updated)

Brock Lesnar

People within WWE genuinely expected that Brock Lesnar wouldn’t retire until SummerSlam in Minneapolis, Minnesota. (FF) A side note – some reporters describe that as his “home state” but Lesnar was actually born and raised in Webster, South Dakota. He’s primarily associated with Minnesota due to the fact he finished his collegiate wrestling career at the University of Minnesota as the 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Champion and two time Big Ten champion. I don’t doubt he loves the state for the fact he’s won UFC fights and wrestled major WWE matches there in his career.

Via social media Nikki Bella said she hopes to be back in the ring in 6-8 weeks.

R-Truth called Andreas Hale out as a “bitch ass” after his credentials for WrestleMania 42 were denied. Their beef stems back to a 2015 tweet where Hale accused Truth of “coon-ing” on Raw.

The TNA x Qatar SuperSlam has been moved from May 1st to October 24th. (BSN)

Fans chanted FUCK TKO during the WrestleMania 42 post-show.

In what I can only describe as an extreme overreaction, CM Punk slapped the phone out of a fan’s hand when he filmed Bayley hugging AJ Lee in a hotel lobby. Let me give you the run down because I do in a sense understand his motivation. Not every interaction needs to be content for the internet. It may have even been crossing a line to pull out a phone to record it. The problem for Phil here is that a hotel lobby is a public space, with many people coming and going, and unless you are being whisked away out a back door to a waiting limo with security guards your expectation of privacy is going to be nearly zero. I agree people need to chill with their phones but he also needs to show more restraint in public places because he’s not going to be able to single-handedly stop every single person who recognizes him and his wife from filming. Like I’ve said consistently on this website (and the previous one) don’t be that fan. Meet wrestlers at conventions and paid appearances. Don’t harass them at the gym or airport or a restaurant. Wrestlers, be careful out there. Have security when necessary but remember when you take matters into your own hands, that puts you and other people at risk too. Everybody needs to chill.
