Seth Rollins, Brody King, NXT, MJF, Cody Rhodes, Kirsten Koedding, Ric Flair – Friday’s Latest Pro Wrestling News for March 13th, 2026

Seth Rollins

In an interview with Good Morning Football, Seth Rollins said he’s not fully medically cleared yet: “We got in there, we protected Seth Rollins, we confused everybody and we got out of there, and that is what we had to do because Seth Rollins, that’s me, I’m not cleared yet. I can’t get into any real physicality. I gotta protect this shoulder for maybe another couple weeks or so and then we’ll see if we need these masked men, if we need all this trickeration or not.”

Tony Khan talks about the chants Brody King gets at live events: “Well, Brody King is one of our top stars. I’m very excited for the Brody King versus Swerve Strickland match at AEW Revolution this Sunday. Brody King has built a great reputation in the world of professional wrestling as a top star. He’s won championships here in AEW, been a multiple-time world champion here and has competed in other promotions and been associated with other media. He is a fantastic wrestler and also, as I’ve said before, he has strong personal views. The views that Brody expresses, that’s coming from him from the heart, and one of the things about AEW is you’ll hear people be and express their really authentic self and it comes across in the wrestling.”

This week’s NXT did a 0.08 18-49 demo and 541,000 views. (Wrestlenomics)

MJF talks about defending his title in other promotions: “The likes of Buddy Rogers and Harley Race, Jack Brisco, Dory Funk, these gentlemen would travel around, not just their local territory, but around all of the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Japan, Australia, and they would wrestle whoever was deemed the best of the best in that local territory or area. Another thing is we have lost the history and the tradition of our sport, because for a very long time, professional wrestling was a monopoly. It was WWE, and that’s it. The idea of seeing – I’m just going to use an example – John Cena at your local independent company was sacrilegious to a Vince McMahon. But to a Tony Khan, who both understands and respects the idea of a traveling champion, it’s not ridiculous.”

Cody Rhodes will be appearing at The World before WrestleMania 42 night two.

Kirsten Koedding has been promoted to a lead writer/producer for Raw.

Ric Flair will allegedly be appearing at WrestleCon. Let’s see if he actually shows up.
