Masha Slamovich, Omega, Vince McMahon, TKO, Lesnar, ROH, Chelsea Green, Kingston, Rebel, Fred Ottman, Shida, NXT, Reed, EVOLVE, Paramount, Tarin – Thursday’s News for February 26th, 2026

Masha Slamovich

After initially announcing she would be appearing at the Squared Circle Expo, Masha Slamovich has had her pulling booked after the predictably negative response to booking a guest who was let go (i.e. her contract was not renewed) from TNA over allegations of domestic abuse. “After speaking to friends in the industry who know a bit more about the details of Masha’s situation, as well as carefully considering the feedback from fans and others in our business whose opinion we value, we have decided to pull Masha Slamovich’s appearance from the SCX VI. The vendor who was bringing her in for the appearance is also in agreement and fully supports the move as well. While we still absolutely believe that many people will often deserve a second chance and the opportunity for redemption, the timing for this was ill thought out and regrettable. We truly hope and wish for Masha to continue to better herself and hope that learning from past mistakes will allow for growth and a better future.”

Via social media Capcom revealed Kenny Omega did motion capture for Street Fighter 6.

In their fourth quarter SEC filings, TKO revealed Vince McMahon has reimbursed them $12 million for litigation expenses, including antitrust filings from shareholders, the Janel Grant lawsuit, et cetera. Considering how much money he’s worth it’s barely a drop in the bucket. Considering how much money TKO rakes in it’s equally minuscule to them. In fact the company posted revenue of $1.038 billion with a net income of $0.8 million for the quarter, with an adjusted EBITDA of $281.2 million. They also revealed revenue of $4.735 billion for 2025, with net income of $546.2 million, and an adjusted EBITDA of $1.585 billion. They are stupidly profitable which explains why they can be so tone deaf when it comes to their creative decisions and ticket prices. They don’t have to listen to anyone.

Brock Lesnar’s son Turk just scored a hat trick playing for the Calgary Rockies U17 team.

In this interview Chelsea Green talks about her ankle: “The ankle is chipped. I mean, the internet knew my ankle was all sorts of things before I even knew. But, yeah, it’s broken but it’s not the worst kind of break so we’re good, we’re good. We’re healing up very quickly which I’m so thankful for. So when I broke it and found out – I broke it on Friday but I actually didn’t find out till Wednesday. Well, I had already done three Disney and Universal days. I had already been drinking and walking and roller coastering. So I was like, ‘Well, if I can do all that, let me just text work and I wanna work. I wanna be in a wheelchair or I wanna be hobbling around in a boot.’ I mean, come on. Come on. So many fun things.”

Eddie Kingston has pulled out of independent bookings and is not on the road for AEW right now due to severe migraine headaches. (PWI) Best wishes to him to recover and be well. Migraines are the worst.

Rebel is currently doing in-patient rehab following treatment for her lung cancer: “I’m doing speech therapy for my speech, and chewing is difficult and swallowing. So I’m getting speech therapy for that. I’m getting occupational therapy for being able to raise my hands, and I’m also getting physical therapy, and that will help with my walking and my gait. Right now, I’m walking with a walker. I am able to walk without the walker, but I am a big fall risk. So we just take precautions.” Best wishes to her too. Cancer is even MORE the worst.

Here’s another health update – Fred Ottman is home from the hospital. “They released me from the hospital yesterday. They kept me in the hospital for an extra couple days for observation because the surgery was pretty tough, but I’m home with my beautiful wife Sheila. And I got home healthcare coming in and checking on me today. And then will become the road to recovery, which ought to take a while, I believe. But I just wanted to keep you guys in the loop, and thanks for all the prayers and all the thoughts and everything and the cards and letters that have been sent to me. God bless you, each and every one. I really appreciate the support. You know, you’re my extended family. So I just wanted to keep you in here. All right, I love you, and I won’t bother you no more. Have a great day.”
