Tommaso Ciampa

Via social media Tommaso Ciampa revealed his new AEW theme song came together in just 48 hours: “For this all to just fall together in 48 hours, like talking with Mike Mansury and talking about here’s my vision of a tron and then seeing it come to fruition, and then talking to Mikey Rukus and saying, this is the music that I’ve always wanted, here’s the elements, here’s four songs, here’s the parts I like, and 48 hours with them, 36 hours with them, it was a blast. Like, I’ve never been able to collaborate with somebody who’s a music artist in that way, where it’s just your opinion matters so much, and it was just this back and forth of just, I don’t know, just jiving. I’ve never met this dude, you know what I mean? I can’t wait to meet him now, because what he put together was true. He just crushed it.”

With her sudden departure last week in real life, a new GM was needed in storyline, and Robert Stone (a/k/a Robbie E or Rob Eckos, real name Robert Strauss) was appointed interim NXT GM last night.

Say his name and he is NXT Champion — Joe Hendry claimed the vacant title on NXT last night in a multi-man ladder match.

Brie Bella claims Nick Khan asked her to come back: “I’ve been wanting to come back. I would joke about it a lot but yeah, I kept hearing no. And so when it came Thanksgiving time, I was like, ‘Alright, I’m not going back.’ So I kind of just started to look at 2026 differently. I had a couple other opportunities that were put on the table so I started to engage in those. And then Nick Khan all of a sudden called me and I wasn’t expecting it, and just really wanted me back. I was very shocked, I was like, ‘Alright.’ And I’m grateful to Nick for bringing me back because I definitely thought the door was closed, and I’m happy that it re-opened.”

Hiromu Takahashi wants to clear the air about his NJPW departure: “I want to deny the idea that I’m leaving because I’m dissatisfied (with New Japan). I think it’s natural for any working adult to have dissatisfaction with their company. That’s precisely why I don’t want people to think I left for such a simple reason. I’m leaving with ambition. It’s a super positive departure. It really hit me how much I was loved. I knew it, I was aware, but it made me realize just how much I was cherished. Honestly, it makes me happy. My dream hasn’t changed. As a junior, I want to hold the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and compete in prime time. Plus, another huge dream has taken root inside me. Wanting to achieve that is huge. It’s a well-thought-out decision. But I thought that if I didn’t act now, if I didn’t move now, and ended up regretting it 10 or 20 years down the line, then acting now would let me finish my life without regrets. That’s why I made this decision.”

Here’s the card for Dynamite tonight. (AEW)

  • Andrade El Idolo vs. Kenny Omega
  • Ricochet vs. Jack Perry for the National Championship
