Glory

After ten years, ‘The Bonecrusher’ Errol Zimmerman (111-20-1, 21 KO) is officially returning to the GLORY ring and will face man-mountain Alex Simon (1-0, 1 KO), formerly Australia’s strongest man turned fighter.

The bout will take place at GLORY COLLISION 8 on December 13 at the GelreDome soccer stadium in Arnhem, the Netherlands, and we be for an official wildcard spot in the GLORY Last Heavyweight Standing final, and 8-man 1-night grand prix style tournament, set to take place in early 2026.

With five wins in his last six bouts, all via KO, Zimmerman returns to GLORY with unfinished business, having last competed in the promotion at GLORY 26 in 2015. A former heavyweight title contender and a heavyweight tournament winner, the 39-year-old possesses career wins over Rico Verhoeven, Jerome Le Banner, Stefan Leko, Marcin Rozalski, and Hesdy Gerges.

Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing-in at over 300 pounds, Alex ‘The Spartan’ Simon is a power lifting champion from Australia who, in recent years, has dedicated himself to martial arts and has competed in kickboxing, boxing, and MMA.

Despite his size, the 33-year-old has become a hit on social media with his display of athleticism and obvious power while hitting the pads. Now the Aussie is coming to GLORY to showcase himself and vows to “break bones.”

In addition, Artem Vakhitov (22-7, 8 KO), widely considered the light heavyweight GOAT, was this week announced to take part in the COLLISION 8 light heavyweight tournament. A two-time GLORY world champion and the last man to beat Alex Pereira in kickboxing, Vakhitov returns to the division he once ruled for so long and will join an incredible four-man tournament that features Milos Cvjeticanin (16-4, 9 KO), Cem Caceres (19-2, 14 KO), and Michael Boapeah (21-5-1, 9 KO).

Headlining is huge heavyweight collision between ‘The Judge’ Levi Rigters (21-4, 11 KO) and Croatian superstar Antonio Plazibat (22-5, 16 KO), on the line is the other wildcard spot in the Last Heavyweight Standing tournament final.
