Rhea Ripley narrates the opening video package with a lot of hyped fans from all over the world, ultimately leading to today/tonight live in her home continent at Perth, Australia. Speaking of Australians, Bronson Reed is the first man to head to the ring with “The Oracle” Paul Heyman by his side. Reed gets booed for his entrance but cheered when he’s announced by Alicia Taylor as hailing from South Australia. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett are the commentators for this event. Before Reed’s music even fades out, the crowd is already chanting Roman’s name and they lose it when his theme song starts with their ones in the air to acknowledge the OTC. The referee for this first match is Dan Engler.
* Australian Street Fight: Bronson Reed vs. Roman Reigns
Reigns lays down his ula fala in the corner as the crowd sings his name, the bell dings, they stand face-to-face mouthing off to each other, and the fight starts! Reigns slams his head on all four turnbuckles, does the 10-punch in the last corner with the fans counting along, and clotheslines him out the ring. Roman hits the drive-by dropkick on the apron in front of the announce table, uppercuts him sending him over the barricade, throws a Prime bottle at him, and they fight in the crowd area. Reigns hits him with a trash barrel, they return near the timekeeper’s area, crowd chants for Roman to “fuck him up” as he fights a cricket bat, throws a rugby ball at Heyman, and smacks Reed in the ribs with the cricket bat.
Reed blasts him with a body block at ringside, headbutts him, the crdw already chants that this is awesome, and Reed fights a kendo stick but Reigns avoids it and shoves him into the ringpost. Reigns whacks him with the kendo stick several times and smiles at the crowd’s enjoyment, and he even takes a microphone. “Perth, if you want tables, acknowledge me!” The whole crowd throws up the ones, chants “OTC” for him, and Roman brings a table from under the ring, but Reed clocks him from behind, throws him into the steel steps, and shoves the table back under the ring as the crowd chants “Fuck you Bronson!” Reed takes the top half of the steps, hits him with it twice, throws him back into the ring, brings in two steel chairs, hits him in the ribs with a chair and wedges it in the corner. Heyman has a sick smile on his face, Reed whacks him on the back and jabs his ribs with the other chair. Reed sets up the chair, but Roman plants him with the Samoan drop onto the open chair, and gets a 2-count!
Both men get back up, Roman clotheslines him three times, Reed stays on his feet, and Reigns hits about a dozen repeated clotheslines over and over in the ropes. Reed reverses an Irish whip, Reigns hits the jumping clothesline to finally knock him down, Reed blocks the Superman Punch, and plants him with the Jagged Edge death valley driver for a near-fall! Reed hits him with a Stop sign, Reigns blocks the urinage with back elbows, but Reed still plants him with the urinage onto the Stop sign, and covers for 2. Roman rolls away from the running senton, side-steps him in the corner sending him into the wedged chair, hits the Superman Punch and covers for a near-fall. Reigns roars for the finish, but Reed rolls out the ring, leans against the barricade, Roman exits the ring, charges around, and BRON BREAKKER jumps the barricade to SPEAR REIGNS!! The Vision plant Reigns with a POWERBOMB THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!!
Reed brings a table into the ring to lean against the corner, Breakker drags Roman, and here come THE USOS!! Breakker charges at them and eats a double superkick! Jimmy and Jey get in the ring, they double team on Reed, double superkick, Jey superkicks Breakker, Jimmy superkicks Breakker, then The Usos double superkick Breakker, and they hit simultaneous running hip attacks to The Vision. The Usos hit Breakker with 1-D! They go up top, Reed pulls Jimmy off the top, Breakker is already back up to hit Jey with a military press gutbuster, then he charges around the ring to SPEAR JIMMY THROUGH THE BARRICADE!! Reed sees Jey Uso in the middle of the ring, goes up top, but Roman hits the Superman Punch, hits Breakker with the Superman Punch to knock him off the apron, Reed picks him up for the Jagged Edge, but he drops Roman as Jey charges and JEY SPEARS ROMAN THROUGH THE TABLE!!! Jey is apologizing to Reigns for his mistake, Breakker SPEARS Jey to take him out, drags Reigns into position, Reed hits the TSUNAMI AND COVERS FOR 3!!! WINNER: BRONSON REED!!
This is the second time in years that Roman Reigns has been pinned in a one-on-one match! The Vision celebrate this big victory and they leave. Roman admonishes The Usos for interfering, telling them that he told them to stay back. “The whole world thinks I can’t do shit on my own. I love you, I love you, but I don’t wanna see you.” The crowd chants “You fucked up” and “Someone’s in trouble” towards The Usos. Reigns leaves the ring disappointed, as The Usos say they were just trying to help him. Jey is more upset about it and leaves, while Jimmy tries to talk him down.
The next match will determine the women to be name as the Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. Both champs come out, Alicia Taylor is in the ring to do the proper introductions, referee Eddie Orengo shows up the title, and calls for the bell.
