WWE isn’t waiting until 2026 to switch PLEs to ESPN. In a two-for-one combo they revealed Wrestlepalooza for Sept. 20th in Indianapolis. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, August 22 at 10:00 am EST. Pre-sale access for tickets starts tomorrow at 10:00 am EST. The show will be at Gainbridge Fieldhouse (home of the Pacers) and the first WWE PLE of the ESPN era.

Bryan Danielson will be part of the Forbidden Door Zero Hour offering commentary on the pre-show panel. (AEW)

The Las Vegas Sports Authority has released their numbers for WrestleMania 41 and Wrestlenomics has the scoop: 118,641 fans combined for both nights with 58,538 fans on Saturday and 60,103 fans on Sunday.

Here’s the updated card for Clash in Paris on August 31st. (WWE)

  • WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Jey Uso vs. CM Punk vs. LA Knight
  • Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook: Rusev vs. Sheamus
  • Logan Paul vs. John Cena
  • Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed

Killer Kross will be at DEFY Wrestling on September 19th.

Congratulations to Natalya on being the first woman to receive the Lou Thesz Award from the Cauliflower Alley Club.

Becky Lynch says she’ll be back for season two of Starfleet Academy: “I’m coming back for the second season, which I think they’re going to be filming soon. It was an incredible experience. You’re going through 12-14 hour days and I didn’t want to leave. I loved every second of it because you’re around all these great minds. Great director, producer, writers, and actors. Getting to play opposite Holly Hunter and Paul Giamatti. Just how good they are.”

Samoa Joe says playing Sweet Tooth has helped him in the ring: “I mean, a tremendous amount, I think. Being forced, especially with the Sweet Tooth mask, which is very, very not inclined to show a lot of emotion just by its nature. Yeah, just in the practice of being that character, your body language and how you express yourself can’t help it improve. And yeah, I’ve definitely noticed myself being a little bit more emotive in the ring whenever I do things.”

Killswitch a/k/a Luchasaurus (Austin Matelson) returned on Dynamite last night to replace Nick Wayne in his upcoming tag team match at Forbidden Door. Wayne was supposed to partner with Kip Sabian to face Adam Copeland & Christian Cage but he has a broken foot. Killswitch gave both Cope & Cage chokeslams on the show. This is Matelson’s first time back since a serious case of pneumonia nearly took him out for good in 2024. (AEW)

Also on Dynamite, Will Ospreay claimed to not “be cleared” for Forbidden Door either, but his team vs. team match was changed to a Lights Out stipulation to “absolve” everyone involved if he’s hurt even worse. (AEW)

NXT No Mercy is reportedly set for September 27th.

With WWE PLEs now moving to ESPN exclusively, Saturday Night’s Main Event is becoming exclusive to Peacock, and the WWE Network library of content will remain on Peacock through the end of 2025. (WWE)

This week’s NXT did a 0.15 with 675K viewers, down from a 0.17 18-49 demo and 728,000 viewers last week. (PI)
