Kairi Sane and Asuka reunited their Kabuki Warriors team on Raw last night and were added to a four way for the Women’s Tag Team Titles at Evolution. Champions Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez will defend against them, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, and Zaria and Sol Ruca. This makes for one team from Raw, SmackDown and NXT respectively challenging the champions on the pay per view, pardon me, “premium live event.”
Speaking of the champions last night on Raw, Roxanne Perez made a “memorial” for Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez was decidedly not impressed by it. She reminded her that Morgan WILL be back eventually.
On his latest “Marking Out” podcast, MVP reminisces about having a match with Low Ki in MLW that never aired: “I had a match with Low Ki at the nightclub in Orlando that they used to shoot at. Low Ki and I decided to do some cinematic style samurai (stuff). He had the Filipino fighting sticks, I had a kendo stick, and we were like fighting with the sticks. He was spinning the sticks at me and I picked up the chair blocking it. We had fun with it. Why it never aired, I don’t know. That’s a question for the owner of MLW. I don’t remember what happened, I honestly don’t recall what happened.”
Tyler Bate says he’s not injured but “just waiting” to be booked by WWE.
Victoria (Lisa Marie Varon) also wants you to know she’s not booked for Evolution.

The presiding judge has ruled in favor of Janel Grant and her bill of discovery against Dr. Carlon Colker and Peak Wellness seeking the records of their communications with Vince McMahon and WWE. “The bill of discovery is an independent action in equity for discovery, and is designed to obtain evidence for use in an action other than the one in which discovery is sought. As a power to enforce discovery, the bill is within the inherent power of a court of equity that has been a procedural tool in use for centuries. The bill is well recognized and may be entertained notwithstanding the statutes and rules of court relative to discovery. (Citations omitted.) Berger v. Cuomo, 230 Conn. 1, 5-6, 644 A.2d 333 (1994); see also In re Cadle Co., 129 Conn.App. 814, 821, 21 A.3d 572, cert. denied, 302 Conn. 914, 27 A.3d 373 (2011). According to the general principles and practices of the equity courts, a bill of discovery may be filed for the discovery of facts in the knowledge of an adverse party or deeds or writings or other things in his custody and power, and it is usually employed to enable a party to prosecute or defend an action. (Internal quotation marks omitted.) Peyton v. Werhane, 126 Conn. 382, 388-89, 11 A.2d 800 (1940). The parties are ordered to submit proposed scheduling orders for interrogatories and objections thereto, requests for production and objections thereto and deposition notices and objections thereto pursuant to court order 116.01.”
Bron Breakker beat Sami Zayn on Raw last night, thanks to a little help from Karrion Kross attacking him backstage with a pipe, then hitting him with three straight spears in the ring. Zayn is “out indefinitely” in storyline. (WWE)

LA Knight has a lot to say about facing Seth Rollins at SNME: “I got to tell you, if you’re still asking that question at this point in time, then something’s wrong with you because here’s the deal. You can put me any damn where you want to, and I have proven time and again that I am that stuff. So if we’re looking at that, if you’re worried about that, I don’t know what to tell you because the bottom line is you want to talk about somebody flourishing. You want to talk about somebody shining, somebody stealing the show, whatever you want to call it. Well, Saturday, the only thing that’s going to get stolen is the hopes and dreams, the pride of Seth Rollins. So can I be with the tippity top? Yeah, I can be with the tippity top. I’m above that damn tippity top. I don’t mean to say that with any kind of empty, hollow, hot wind. Let’s just be honest. Let’s call it what it is. I’m what everybody wanted to be when they came in here. You look at the slew of guys who have been shoved down people’s throats time and again and couldn’t get a whiff or what I’m doing right now. Let’s just call it what it is, and here’s the deal. So here I run, not Mr. Money in the Bank, but the man running around with that case, that in my mind belongs to me. Look, I can’t take it off him right now, and that’s fine. But I’m damn sure (I) could (make them) pay for it.”
Gunther would like to face John Cena before his retirement tour ends: “Yeah, like if the opportunity would be there would be great. I think he’s very busy with what he’s doing now. Maybe towards the end of the year if he finds his old self or something, if that’s going to happen this year, I don’t know. I think it will be a very exciting matchup. One of the purest babyfaces there are and yeah, I would love the scenario of like me being me and the struggling, pure babyface John Cena.”
From MLW: “Major League Wrestling (MLW) today announced Templario in action at MLW FIGHTLAND, presented on YouTube free from the NYTEX Sports Centre, in North Richland Hills, Texas on Saturday, September 13.”
