Former Bellator MMA and ONE Fighting champion Ben Askren just received a double lung transplant after being hospitalized in Wisconsin for a month due to severe pneumonia — and frankly if you need a DOUBLE transplant it can’t possibly be more severe than that. I hope there’s no donor organ rejection, and I know he’ll be on medication for the rest of his life now, but I’m very happy to hear he was able to get this life saving surgery. My best wishes to him as well as his family (wife Amy and three children) and friends.
In his latest vlog Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks reveals he suffered a pulled hamstring back in May: “I have a wrap around my hamstring. It’s a pulled hamstring, I’m just out here icing my big old hamstring because I got hurt last night. I woke up, I slept maybe three hours… I was so uncomfortable all night. I feel really bad, I’m not feeling it, my left knee’s also swollen, so I’m having a hard time walking… and my neck’s kind of hurting too. I was texting my brother… I think this is the worst I’ve ever felt after a match in my career.”
