I’m sad to report that Jim Ross announced he has been diagnosed with colon cancer. My best wishes to him on his treatment and hopefully it can go into remission and he can return to the best health possible.
In the latest twist in the Billy Jack Haynes legal case, Haynes has been declared mentally unfit to stand trial for the murder of his wife Janette Becraft. However this ruling doesn’t get him off the hook, as he will continue to be treated at Oregon State Hospital until a competency hearing can be held on May 20th, and if he is found fit at that point the trial will proceed on December 21st as scheduled.

Another hearing was held in Ted DiBiase Jr.’s fraud case but nothing has been changed — trial selection is August 19th and the trial is scheduled to start August 26th.
Alex Shelley talks about the Motor City Machine Guns having a TLC match last month: “As far as the people involved in that match, if you were to go back and analyze wrestling history, we by far have the most experience in these types of situations, and it’s not even close. I dare say that we were brought up in part with said experience from Team 3D who are the experts in these types of situations, no less. It is a match that you don’t walk away from without any sort of scrapes or aches or bruises. You do give a bit of yourself when you go through those types of matches. But at the same time, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Even if we lost, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. We’ll just win the next one. There’s got to be one, right? There’s got to be.”
