Ian’s Under the Radar Dynamite Recap

AEW

Tonight’s Dynamite, probably not one that’s top of mind in the wrestling world, given that we’re still in the post-Wrestlemania week. But that doesn’t mean we’re not still in for a great night of action! Kris Statlander faces Jamie Hayter in a semi-final match for the Owen Hart Cup! And how will Samoa Joe respond to Jon Moxley’s challenge for the AEW World Championship? It’s not every day the champion makes the challenge!

Tony Schiavone welcomes Master P to the ring. He then welcomes the new Trios Champs to the ring. Joe thanks Master P for welcoming them, and for all he does for New Orleans. Death Riders then attack from behind. They end up getting Master P alone in the ring, but before they can do anything, the trios champs rebound, and Joe chokes Moxley out again. The Elite then attack the champs, then wait for Mox to wake up and get back to his feet. Shafir pulls Moxley out of the way out of fear he might attack them, but then Swerve comes out with a chain, before the trios champs recover and scare The Elite off. Kenny Omega blocks their exit, forcing them to leave through the crowd instead. Joe takes a mic and accepts Moxley’s challenge.

Backstage Renee asks The Patriarchy about Nick Wayne winning the ROH TV Championship. Christian takes credit for it. Wayne says his win proves the validity of his own style, sticking to the plan and winning championships.
