TNA Wrestling did some significant restructuring yesterday. “Departing our leadership team are Ariel Shnerner, Gail Kim, Rob Klingman and Michael Shewchenko. As a long-term Anthem employee, Ariel has played an important role in growing our Anthem properties, from his work with Fight Network and most recently his focus on TNA. Ariel has been instrumental in building our storylines and growing our audiences. Gail has had a long and stories career in TNA as both a champion wrestler and a part of the TNA leadership team, Gail has been a powerful presence in our locker room, supporting our talent and their great performances. On the sales side Rob Kligman departs as Chief Revenue Officer and in Digital, Michael Shewchenko will be departing the organization April 30th. In addition to these leadership departures, we also say thank you and goodbye to Karen Clevett, Sebastian Dastranj, Romy Glazer and Rafael Morffi. Our company is built on the strength and dedication of our team and these changes do not diminish the value or the contributions of those affected.”

Apparently Kim’s release sparked some negativity so Anthem President Carlos Silva issued this response: “Today, we announced a restructuring, resulting in staffing changes at TNA Wrestling. These decisions are always difficult, but it became apparent that we needed to make adjustments to our business strategies. We are grateful for those who worked here and thank them for their years of dedication to the company. Finally, we want our fans to know that we are committed to producing the absolute best product and highest-quality content that we can, and we appreciate their continued support.” (PWI)

Seth Rollins on which NFL players he’d like to see wrestle: “Number one for me is Tyreek Hill. My man. I love a little brother, man. I love a little shifty dude. I love a Rey Mysterio in there, and Tyreek, we know he’s got a personality on him, so I’m sure he can her out there and cut some promos when he needs to. He likes to play the sympathetic babyface, but that ain’t always him. He’s a sneaky cat. So I like Tyreek as number one. Then I’m going number two, Myles Garrett. A monster. I love a big boy. I love an Andre the Giant. I love a Braun Strowman. I just love a big, meaty man that’s gonna get in there and toss people around. You want a battle royal, he’s your guy. Last and actually least, in my opinion, this is a personal one, that’s right, Aaron Rodgers. I want him in the ring because I want to hurt him. I need him in there for myself, alright. I want him in the ring. I want that match. Me versus Aaron Rodgers. Get him in the ring. That’s a personal request.”

Before he set his Twitter profile to private Ryan Nemeth updated his bio to read he was “being sued by a literal billionaire” obviously meaning Tony Khan.
