Tonight, it’s the sixth anniversary of AEW Dynamite! Darby Allin will team with AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander to face Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir in a Tornado Tag! Hologram will reportedly no longer face Kyle Fletcher for the TNT Championship, but will something else take its place?
Dynamite opens with a card rundown, then a video package where the Young Bucks promise an extravagant entrance. Then Nick loses a bunch of money at the casino, which scuppers the whole thing.
Match One: The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander vs. Kenny Omega and AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido
Bucks instead get the jobber entrance, already in the ring when the show cuts back to live.
Kenny and Josh start off, lockup, Josh with a side headlock, Kenny whips his way out, Josh with a tackle, Kenny with a hurricanrana, fireman’s carry, Alexander blocks, tags in Matt, Matt with an arm drag, charges at Bandido, who hits him, Kenny with a facebuster, King in, cleans house, Bandido in, aided crossbody to both Bucks, Matt with a knee, Nick in, Bandido dodges a Superkick Party, Bucks with a double boot to the gut, Bandido with an arm drag to both men, blocked, hits a hurricanrana to both men, Kenny with a dropkick to both men, brawl, also everyone does the Macarena whenever they get a free moment, except Brody, but he does body slam all of his opponents, then both of his partners on top of Alexander, except when he goes for Bandido, Bandido insists on a role reversal, and slams King onto Alexander, Kenny in, Josh with a jaw breaker, German, blocked with elbows, Josh with a lariat, Nick in, running boot, neckbreaker in the ropes, Matt in, Bucks double team everyone one by one, Kenny finally fights them off, tosses Josh to the floor, Bucks with a double superkick, brawl, da bad guys take control, Nick ends up legal and covering for two, stomp/powerbomb combo for two, Omega rebounds, Josh in, King in, King with lariats, Black Hole Slam for two as the Bucks break the count, attempt a beatdown, King beats them down instead, Bandido in, helps King with the beatdown, Kenny joins in, Bandido misses a 21-Plex to Nick, there’s a brief tussle before all three members of the championship team hit tombstones, Bandido covers for two, Kenny misses a V-Trigger to Josh, Josh hits a trio of Germans, Bandido runs in and eats a German, King runs in, Josh goes for a German, King with elbows, Bucks with stereo superkicks, Josh hits his German, goes for another on Kenny, blocked, triple team to Kenny into a Neutralizer for two, Josh with an ankle lock, Bandido breaks with a superkick, triggering a brawl, Kenny with Snap Dragons for both Bucks, knee to Josh, poison rana, powerbomb, V-Trigger, V-Trigger in the ropes, Bandido hits a 21-Plex while King hits the Bucks with a suicide dive, One Winged Angel for three.

After the bell, Kenny and the Bucks are alone in the ring, and look like they might be about to reconcile. Alexander attacks Kenny, the Bucks kind of half-assedly tell him to stop, Jurassic Express come out and take down the Bucks. Josh Alexander tries to get him some, Jack Perry and Kenny Omega take him down. Omega then tries to confront Perry over everything that’s happened between them, but ultimately alerts him to the fact that the Bucks are stirring. Jurassic Express beat the Bucks backstage.
Kenny grabs a mic, says he’s been there all six years, seen the highest highs and the lowest lows, but the journey has been the most important part. He says AEW has made him a better person, and he can’t wait for the future. As he’s saying goodbye, the lights go out.
It’s Andrade! Andrade is back! Andrade attacks Kenny, hits his finish, the name of which I can never remember. Don Callis climbs in the ring and offers a hand, Andrade takes it. Then he stomps Kenny again on the way out.
They show a video package of the highlights over the past six years.
Backstage, Mark Briscoe says this is a day for celebration, but also reflection. He says he’s been obsessed with MJF for the past six months, but now he knows he’s all talk. He says MJF is the only reason he hasn’t won a championship in AEW yet, but he can be happy for his friends getting the shots.
Match Two: TNT Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Orange Cassidy

I’m guessing we just saw the debut of Clon, denying Orange Cassidy the opportunity to be the first man to hold two different midcard championships in AEW. Well, unless you count Okada. Fletcher and “Hologram” attack Cassidy after the bell until the Conglomeration chase them off. Callis then brings in the rest of his family, as “Hologram” officially reveals himself to be Clon.
Backstage, Renee introduces Mercedes Mone, announces that it’s only 16 days until she becomes the longest-reigning TBS Champion, and announces she now has nine belts. Mone says next week she’ll make her Daly’s Place debut and defend the TBS Championship against a Florida local. Renee brings up the new tag belts, Mone says she knows about being a tag champ, and asks who her partner will be. Harley Cameron puts her hat in the ring, and Mone says it’s a hard no. As she walks off, Harley says she’s not giving up.
Match Three: Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia and Claudio Castagnoli) vs. AEW Men’s World Champion Hangman Page and The Opps (Powerhouse Hobbs and Samoa Joe)

Hangman hands his partners their belts after the match, but is a bit rough handing Joe his. It’s hard to tell if it was intentional or not, but Joe sure takes it that way, and argues with Hangman. Hobbs plays peacekeeper, security runs in to the same end. Joe tells Hangman he’s never beaten him, to which Hangman replies, “There it is.” Joe takes a shot, sparking a brawl, until Hobbs pulls Joe off.
Backstage, JetSpeed and Willow say they have FTR and Stokely’s number. Knight challenges either member of FTR. Stokely promises a surprise for his old enemy, Willow Nightingale, and says Knight’s challenge is accepted, but they aren’t revealing which member of FTR until bell time.
After a commercial, Renee asks Hangman about what just happened. Hangman says he’s confused, but Joe made it really clear that he wants a shot at the championship. He says Joe helped him get the championship, so he’ll give Joe a shot, at Wrestledream. He finishes with a warning that he will ruin Joe’s life if he throws another fit like that.
Match Four: Toni Storm vs. Tay Melo
Genuinely had to stop myself from putting “AEW Women’s World Champion” in the match header.

Storm grabs a mic and says she didn’t hear anything when she lost the championship at All Out, and that Statlander became everything she no longer was. She questions who she is without the championship, and says she’s not done with Statlander. She says she needs one on one, and says Stat can name the time and place.
Renee asks Joe for a response to Hangman’s challenge. Joe says he’s not sure if this really was a misunderstanding, but now it’s time to remind everyone who he is.
Match Five: GoA vs. The Swirl

Ricochet rolls Christian into the ring, GoA hold him back for a Spirit Gun. The Hurt Syndicate come out, MVP grabs a mic, makes it clear this is his neighbourhood, and takes blame for the loss at All Out. He makes the challenge for a rematch, next week, street fight. Ricochet accepts.
Backstage, Renee asks Stat about Storm’s challenge. She says the two of them have never wrestled one on one, but she’s a fighting champion, so the answer is yes, at Wrestledream. Harley Cameron then runs in and hypes Stat up, while trying to hide her CEO puppet.
Alicia Atout asks Don Callis about the successes the Family has had tonight. He says he doesn’t like that Brodido got away, and challenges them to defend against Okada and Takeshita. Takeshita objects, but Okada says it’s happening.

Darby and Stat rush the Death Riders during their entrance, sparking a brawl. Darby eventually grabs a chair, sets it up, sets Yuta up on it, Yuta dodges the ensuing dive, Stat and Shafir brawl around ringside, Darby and Yuta eventually brawl into the ring, Yuta with a fisherman suplex for two, Death Riders set up a bunch of chairs in the ring, menace Stat, Stat rebounds and beats down both opponents, Shafir head scissors her through the ropes into the barricade, Yuta and Darby trade shots, Yuta hits a German on Darby into the pile of chairs, Shafir and Stat brawl on top of the barricade, Stat suplexes Shafir through the timekeeper’s table, Darby hits Yuta with a superplex onto the pile of chairs for two, wrenches Yuta’s arm into the ring post, punches, Yuta trips him, frees his own arm, hangman’s neckbreaker on the apron, grabs a black bag, spills thumbtacks onto the mat, Stat attacks Yuta, Yuta hits a high angle back suplex, goes for a suplex into the tacks, reversed into a suplex onto the chairs, Shafir with a choke, Stat back suplexes her bare feet first onto the tacks, Yuta with a chop block to Stat, goes to throw powder at Darby, misses and hits Shafir, who locks him in a rear naked choke because she thinks he’s Darby, Stat with a 450 onto both of them, Darby with a Coffin Drop to Yuta for three.

Toni Storm comes out and stares down Kris Statlander. They nod at each other, and then start to brawl, until security pulls them apart.
In the ring, Darby whips Yuta repeatedly with a belt, until PAC tackles him and beats him down. He starts choking him with the belt, as Mox and Claudio hit the ring. Moxley says Darby has no chance at Wrestledream. Mox admits he doesn’t know how he’s going to make Darby quit, but he’s going to make him do it. PAC hits a lariat and the Death Riders leave as Dynamite goes off the air.
