In this interview The Rock talks about working hurt during WrestleMania 29 despite suffering several major injuries while wrestling John Cena: “I didn’t want to tell John that because I knew the match would end, and I didn’t want the match to end in that way. Not only was it important to me to go out on my shield, I knew this was my very last match of my entire career. My career was going to end on this night. No one knew, but I knew. The other reason, and maybe more important than my career ending, I was doing the honors. That means you’re passing the torch to someone who is going to carry it from here on out. That was to John, and that was the finish to our match; me doing the honors for him and him beating me in the middle of the ring to become champion. That’s why I didn’t want the match to end right away. I wanted him to have his moment. That’s important.”
Kelani Jordan talks about becoming the TNA Knockouts Champion: “When I saw that Ash was relinquishing the title and there was going to be a battle royal, why wouldn’t I take that opportunity? It ended up with me and Lei Ying as the last two in a title match the same night. This was also my first time ever in TNA. I know some people might be a little bit bitter, but who wouldn’t take the opportunity? Thankfully, I came out champion. It was fun. It was nice to be in front of a different crowd, on a different brand, and show what I can do.”
Speaking of which Mistico will face Michael Oku at FantasticaMania UK 2025.

It doesn’t matter if it’s in Mexico, London, or Japan. I think that I’ve shown what I’m made of, and now I think it’s time to look for new things.”
