9/27/2025. It’s time once again for the NXT superstars to show No Mercy for one another. Oba Femi will defend his NXT Championship against Ricky Saints; Lola Vice challenges Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship; Ethan Page has Tavion Heights coming for his North American Title; Sol Ruca puts her WWE Speed Women’s Championship on the line; we’ll see Je’Von Evans and Josh Briggs settle a grudge match; a weaponized cage match; and much more! We are live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida! We get an opening video package to hype up tonight’s matches. Je’Von Evans is the first superstar to make his way to the ring for the first match of the night. Josh Briggs heads out next, and we see his attack on Evans last night on SmackDown.
* Je’Von Evans vs. Josh Briggs
They scrap right at the bell and the fight spills out the ring. Briggs tosses him over the barricade, but Evans fights back and sends him into the steel steps. Evans hits a springboard crossbody for a 1-count, does the bouncy hurricanrana, dropkicks him, but Briggs drives him to the turnbuckles and attacks him in a corner. Briggs hiptosses him across the ring, hits an elbow drop, covers for 2, stomps on his back, Evans fights back, springboards into a rollup, but Briggs drops him with a couple of backbreakers and gets a 2-count.
Briggs continues the attack on the back with a hammer throw into the turnbuckles a couple times. Evans battles back with big strikes, kicks him in the head, but Briggs knocks him off the apron making his back collide off the barrier. Evans makes it back in the ring before referee Adrian Butler could count him out, so Briggs plants him with a sidewalk slam, but Evans rolls away from the splash. Briggs is back up with less pain than his struggling opponent, but Evans won’t back down and he fights back and hits a snap German suplex off the ropes. Evans clotheslines the big man but he doesn’t fall, so he superkicks him in the jaw, clotheslines him, then hits the bouncy kick to the head twice. Evans throws his shirt at him, punches him in the jaw, Briggs slumps down in a corner, Evans goes up top across the ring, Briggs rolls out the ring, so Evans hits a DIVING BODY BLOCK TO THE FLOOR!
Evans throws him back into the ring, goes up top, and hits the FROG SPLASH from 3/4 away, and gets a near-fall at 2.99! Briggs clubs him on the back, kicks him in the back of the head, then hits a big lariat to the back of the head for a near-fall. Evans counters with a sunset pin for 2, forearm smash, Briggs hits a back elbow, Evans with a forearm smash again, and Briggs boots him in the mouth. Briggs does a hiptoss into a backbreaker, flips him around for a knee to the face, and covers for 2. Briggs goes up top, pulls Evans up with him, sets up for a super choke slam, but Evans backflips landing on his feet! Evans hits a soccerkick to the jaw, but then Briggs counters a springboard into the one-handed CHOKE SLAM for 1-2-KICKOUT!
Evans lowers the top rope on him,Briggs blocks the suicide dive, clobbers him, throws him back into the ring, hits the lariat across the jaw, covers, and Evans gets his boot on the ropes to stop the count. Briggs drags him by the hair, goes towards the corner, Evans stops him, challenges him with shoves and slaps, hits the running knee strike, Briggs counters a springboard with the big boot, Evans counters the choke slam with a cutter, then hits the double-springboard OG CUTTER FOR 3!! WINNER: JE’VON EVANS!!
We get the commercial for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. Then we get a classic NXT No Mercy match from 2023 where Trick Williams defeated Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship, with Dragon Lee as the special guest referee.
We cut back to this past Tuesday on NXT when Trick Williams slapped Mike Santana at ringside, sparking a big brawl between NXT superstars and TNA wrestlers at the end of the show. We then get a recap from TNA Victory Road last night where Kelani Jordan won the vacant TNA Knockouts World Championship. Kelani gave comments after the match saying she wants to represent NXT and TNA as the new champion.
We get news that Lainey Reid is not medically cleared to compete in her first PLE, but the match will still go on as scheduled with a new competitor. Sol Ruca heads out with both her NXT Women’s North American Championship and the WWE Women’s Speed Championship alongside Zaria, and she now has a new opponent. Who will it be??
* WWE Women’s Speed Championship: Sol Ruca {C} vs. Jaida Parker
A WWE Speed Championship match has a five-minute time limit.
5:00. Sol goes for a crucifix pin for 2, reversed for 2, Sol jumps onto the apron, Jaida gets trapped in the ropes, and Sol boots her out the ring. Sol jumps off the ropes for a somersault senton at ringside, throws her back into the ring, and Jaida rolls out the other side at 4:00. Jaida blocks a baseball slide, attacks her in the ropes, double jump stomp, covers for 2 a couple of times, and Sol gets two feet to the back. Jaida traps her in the ropes, hits the springboard hip drop, and no high-steps as she has 3:00 left. Jaida delivers the falcon arrow, covers for 2, gourdbuster, Sol counters Hip-notic, covers for 2, hits a running kick to the chest, Jaida rolls out the ring, and clobbers her in the chest. Both women get back in with 2:00 remaining, Jaida goes for a suplex, Sol counters with a DDT, and covers for 2. They trade shots back and forth, Jaida picks her up, hits a Samoan drop, Ruca rolls to the ropes, hot shots her, and pulls her out the ring for a fight outside the ring with 1:00 to go! Sol slams her head on the steel steps, Jaida avoids the moonsault of the steps, hits the HIP-NOTIC, throws her back into the ring, mouths off to Zaria, pie-faces her, Lash Legend shows up, and Jaida side-steps as Zaria charges and SPEARS Legend! Jaida gets back in the ring, Ruca hits the SOL SNATCHER, and covers for the win with 15 SECONDS on the clock!! WINNER and STILL WWE WOMEN’S SPEED CHAMPION: SOL RUCA!
Sol Ruca continues her reign as a double champion. Lash Legend still can’t stay out of Jaida Parker’s business. We get a promo commercial for WWE Survivor Series in San Diego in November. We get a commercial for WWE Evolve, Wednesdays at 8 PM ET on Tubi (U.S.) and YouTube (internationally). We get a couple of promos from Evolve superstars to promote the show and their matches.
This past Tuesday, Joe Hendry gave his comments after his loss to DarkState, and in a twist after saying their name DarkState show up to warn him again to stay away from them.
* Weaponized Steel Cage Match: Jordynne Grace vs. Blake Monroe
They start the match with a fight and Jordynne throws her into the cage early on. Blake avoids a pink chair shot, starts hitting her with a pink kendo stick, Jordynne blocks the stick and hits her with it, then plants her with a spinebuster on the pink chair! Jordynne opens the chair, Blake slips off her shoulders, Jordynne blocks the chair, then puts her in the Boston crab with a chair over her head and sits on it! Blake manages to break free, Jordynne wedges the chair in a corner, Blake bites her hand, shoves her into the corner, then side-steps her and Jordynne’s head crashes into the chair.
Blake throws her into the cage wall tice, attacks her injured right hand in the cage, grabs a pink trash barrel and throws it on her back for a 2-count. Blake stabs her hand with the kendo stick, Jordynne avoids a strike, ducks a swing, but Blake uses the kendo stick for a front Russian legsweep. Blake uses the cord of a hair-dryer to tie her hand in the cage, pulls scissors out of a handbag, and CUTS JORDYNNE’S HAIR OFF!!!
Jordynne escapes being cuffed, looks around at her hair, and she snaps! Thesz Press, mounted punches, short-arm clotheslines, and a chop is how Grace gets fired up. Blake grabs the cage to avoid a powerbomb and stands on the ropes, but Jordynne crotches her on the top rope, climbs up the ropes, picks her up, hits a top-rope Samoan drop and gets a 2-count. Jordynne grabs a leather strap and smacks her with it, stands up the trash barrel, Blake counters to slam her head on it, tosses a trash can lid at her, dropkicks the lid into her, knees her against the cage wall, and gets a 2-count after Grace gets her foot on the rope. Blake pulls a black bag off the cage, pours out hundreds of diamonds, Jordynne grabs her leg, and delivers a capture suplex onto the diamonds! Jordynne covers for another 2-count.
Jordynne stomps on her back, sets her up on the top turnbuckle, puts a trash barrel in position, but Blake counters and puts her head in the barrel for a double stomp! Blake covers for 2, she grabs the table that the crowd has been chanting for the entire match, stomps on her hand, opens a table leg, Jordynne blocks the impact, drives her into the cae head-first, then tosses her onto the apron. Jordynne sets up the table into position, she pulls Blake up the turnbuckles, Blake is in the electric chair, but she uses her legs to ram Grace’s face into the cage. Both women climb onto the top of the cage, they trade chops, Jordynne grabs a crowbar, but Blake blows powder into her eyes! Jordynne slips down to the top rope, Blake follows down for a powerbomb, but Grace counters with a SUPER AIR RAID CRASH THROUGH THE TABLE ONTO THE DIAMONDS, 1-2-3!!!! WINNER: JORDYNNE GRACE!!
We get promos for SmackDown and Saturday Night’s Main Even in Salt Lake City, Utah… as well as one for Halloween Havoc in Scottsdale, Arizona as the next PLE for NXT.
We go to NXT General Manager Ava in her office to address the brawl that occurred at the end of NXT this past Tuesday. Ava says she spoke to Santino Marella about what to do about it, they came to a conclusion. “On Tuesday, October 7th on the CW, NXT and TNA will bring to you an event that no one in the wrestling world thought was possible – Invasion. NXT and TNA will compete in two Survivor Series style matches, one for the men and one for the women. This Tuesday, the teams will be announced once Santino and I make our respective picks. Also, another match that has been officially signed off on is the NXT Tag Team Champions DarkState vs. the TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz – title for title, winner take all match. And also, after everything that has happened with Trick and Oba, everyone will be barred from ringside so that there will be no interruptions, there has to be a winner. Thank you, and I’ll see you all on October 7th at Invasion.”
Lash Legend is back out here, and she has something to say on the stage. She’s happy that Zaria’s spear cause Jaida Parker to lose her match. Lash makes a challenge to TNA for October 7th, calling herself a choice for the women’s match, and reminds us how she defeated Jaida in a match a few weeks ago. Jaida shows up to scrap and they have to get separated.
Backstage, Lainey Reid gets interviewed about not getting cleared to compete, and she says she got injured while training yesterday and has a boot on to show for it. Lola Vice walks up to give her words of advice, but Lainey doesn’t want her pity with an attitude, so Lola threatens to make her injury worse. Lola says she will prove to everyone who has doubted her that she will succeed in Vice City.
We get another classic NXT No Mercy match in 2024 when Joe Hendry challenged Ethan Page for the NXT Championship, with Trick Williams as the special guest referee.
* NXT North American Championship Match: Tavion Heights vs. Ethan Page {C}
They lock up collar-and-elbow, Heights with a rear waistlock, Page in the ropes, side headlock, shoulder block to no affect, another shoulder block, and a third shoulder block that no one falls. Page with the first strike, Heights strikes back, avoids a big boot, a roundhouse, and he dropkicks him. Page gives him a back body drop onto the steel entrance ramp, rolls him back into the ring, elbow drop to the back, shoulder thrust to the kidney, stomps on his back, and plants him with a back suplex for 2.
Page clubs him on the back, Heights side-steps him in a corner, tries to suplex him but his back gives out, so Page delivers a vertical suplex, gets a 2-count, then puts him in a grounded bearhug. Heights gets back to his feet, tries to break free, hits a back elbow, but Page kicks him in the ribs, and hits a backbreaker over the steel part of the top turnbuckle. Page throws him back into the ring, poses in the middle of the ring, Heights is back up already, fights back, clotheslines him, big boot, slams him down, takes the straps down, Page kicks off the ankle lock, so Heights rolls through to lift him up, trips him and puts him in the ankle lock until he reaches the ropes.
Page rolls him up inside cradle for 2, Heights ducks a roundhouse, rolls him up for 2, counters the Twisted Grin with a backslide for 2, Page kicks him in the head, gets a 2-count and he rolls him into the Boston crab. Heights reaches the bottom rope, goes up top, Page cuts him off, Heights fights him off, but Page pulls him off the rope with a falling powerslam, gator rolls to pick him back up, and hits TWISTED GRIN for the victory! WINNER and STILL NXT NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION: “ALL EGO” ETHAN PAGE!
“All Ego” Ethan Page is the winner, but someone else has a problem with him. El Hijo Del Dr. Wagner Jr. shows up on the big screen, says he knows Page is eyeing his AAA Latin American Championship, and he is setting his own sights on the North American Championship.
Myles Borne gets interviewed about his win on NXT and also about Ava’s announcement. Myles calls NXT his family, and he wants to be the captain on Team NXT to defend his NXT family. Next we see a video from Mike Santana to also talk about Trick Williams calling him a pendejo for slapping him and running away. We also see a tweet from Frankie Kazarian accepting an Invasion to NXT this Tuesday.
We go to a classic NXT No Mercy match from 2024 while Roxanne Perez defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Jaida Parker.
Lola Vice heads to the ring for her match, and her family is at ringside. Jacy Jayne comes out next and just has Fallon Henley with her, seeing as how they dropped Jazmyn Nyx from their group on NXT this past Tuesday by not caring that she got attacked. Mike Rome does the proper title match introductions.

They lock up collar-and-elbow, Jacy with a headlock takeover holding on, Lola counters for 1, Jacy holds onto the headlock, Lola reverses, Jacy counters back to the headlock, Lola slips out for an arm wringer, Jacy reverses, Lola tries to counter but Jacy drops her back into the headlock. Lola pushes off, Jacy hits a shoulder block, running senton, and takes a bow. Jacy puts her back into the headlock, Lola puts her in an armbar, Jacy forces her to release from a 1-count, Lola traps an arm with body blows, springboard armdrag, drop toehold, and an axe kick to the back. Jacy whispers to Fallon, Fallon walks to the other side of the ring, Lola gets distracted, Jacy capitalizes and stomps her down in a corner.
The champion starts her dominance in the match, but Lola ducks a clothesline, hits a loud body shot, delivers a snap suplex, covers for 2, then puts her in a rear chinlock. Jacy counters with a jawbreaker, Lola with a double-leg takedown, jackknife pin for 2, crucifix pin for 2, kicks her in the ribs, short-arm kicks, and kicks her out the ring. Lola slams her head on the announce table, Fallon distracts her again, Jacy pushes her into the steel steps, and hits a cannonball against the steps. Jacy backs her against the ring, throws her back in, hits a sling blade backbreaker, back-splash in a corner, snap suplex, and covers for 2.
Lola fights back, starts her kicks but her back gives out, she lunges at Henley, Jacy hits a backstabber, and covers for 2. Jacy hits a running back elbow, slams her face down, and puts her in a chinlock with her knee in the back. Lola gets back to her feet, backs her against the turnbuckles to break the hold, Jacy punches her in the back, rolls her up, Lola counters into a crossface, and Jacy counters for 2.
Lola side-steps her in a corner, kicks her in the chest, hits the spin kick a few times, lands the rapid-kicks, hits the running hip attack, delivers a saito suplex, and Jacy rolls to the ropes to avoid the backfist. Lola leaps off the apron with a cannonball wiping out Fallon Henley, and Jacy hits her challenger with the pump kick. Back in the ring, Lola ducks the Rolling Encore, hits the roundhouse kick, covers, and Fallon pulls the referee to stop the count. Fallon Henley has been EJECTED!
Jacy rolls Vice up for 2, Lola counters with the rear naked choke in the middle of the ring, Jacy rolls back to cover and gets a 2-count as it forces Lola to release the hold. Jacy side-steps her, slaps her chest, Lola chops her, Jacy hits her own backfist, falls onto the cover and gets a near-fall. Jacy is back on the attack, taunts Vice’s family, Lola battles back, hits a tornado DDT into the guillotine, Jacy gets to her feet, backs her to the turnbuckles to break, Lola side-steps her, kicks her down in the corner, goes up top, Jacy cuts her off, and delivers a BACK SUPERPLEX, followed by the running knee strike, and covers for 1-2-KICKOUT! Jacy can’t believe it, so she grabs her championship, brings it into the ring, the ref grabs it from her, Lola rolls her up for 2.5, counters the knee for another roll-up for 2, Jacy superkicks her in the elbow, Lola superkicks her back, they trade strikes, Lola hits the rapid kicks, Jacy hits ROLLING ENCORE, Lola bounces off the ropes for the BACKFIST, and both women are down!
The ref checks on Jacy while Lola fell out the ring, and a mysterious hooded figure knees Lola in the face behind the ref’s back as he was removing the championship from the ring! Lola is flat on her back outside the ring, the ref starts his count, Lola struggles to get back up, she collapses at 8, rolls back in at the count of 9, gets to her feet, and Jacy hits the ROLLING ENCORE TO SEAL THE DEAL AND RETAIN HER TITLE! WINNER and STILL NXT WOMEN’S CHAMPION: JACY JAYNE!!
Fallon is back in the ring to celebrate Jacy’s victory, while Lola is disappointed she lost in her home and in front of her family.
We also get comments from Moose and he says he will be on NXT this Tuesday. Also, Mustafa Ali tweets that he will be there too. Speaking of Tuesday, Lash Legend takes on Jaida Parker one-on-one. Also, Ava and Santino will choose their teams for NXT Invasion.
Who will be the NXT Champion by this Tuesday? We’ll find out as the main event is next! After both men head to the ring, we go to Mike Rome in the ring to do the proper title match introductions, the referee holds up the title on the line, and calls for the bell to get the main event underway.
* NXT Championship: Ricky Saints vs. Oba Femi {C}
Saints punches him to get started, Femi blocks a sunset flip, slams her down, hits a big boot, and hits a European uppercut in the corner. Saints gets a boot up in the corner, fights back, rolls him up for 2, they kick each other, Femi hits a European uppercut, and does a headlock takeover holding him down. Femi body slams him, covers for a 1-count, clubs him on the back, Saints chops him, lands on his feet from a back suplex, hits a running one-footed dropkick, side-steps him in a corner, grabs the arm, but Femi pulls him off the ropes. Saints with a rear waistlock, Femi blocks the O’Connor roll, Saints dropkicks him, knees him in the back sending him out the ring, and Femi blocks the suicide dive.
Femi chokes him on the middle rope, hits a backbreaker, picks him back up, hits another backbreaker, picks him back up, a third backbreaker, and covers for 2. Femi catches his leg, pulls him in for a clothesline, Saints rolls onto the apron, and Femi pulls him back in for another shot that sends him back out the ring. Saints gets back in the ring at the count of 7, Femi suplexes him onto the ropes, hits a big European uppercut, and pulls him to the middle of ring for a chinlock with his knee in the back. Saints counters with a jawbreaker, Femi catches him, backbreaker, places him across the top turnbuckle and stretches him. Saints fights back with a knee, an elbow, springboards, Femi catches him for a Choke Slam, and covers for 2.
Saints rolls him up for 2, hits a jumping knee, takes his arm, walks the ropes for a falling punch to the shoulder, hits running forearms, knocks down the champ, hits a running back elbow, slides under a big boot, hits the Samoan drop, and covers for 2. Femi pops him up, Saints lands on his feet, hits an enzuigiri, goes for the Spear but Femi swats him down, hits the pop-up European uppercut, and covers for 2. Saints avoids the powerslam, hits the Spear, and gets a 2-count. Saints goes up top, Femi cuts him off with a forearm smash, Saints fights him off, sunset flip, pulls him off the ropes, and powerbombs him for 2.5!
Femi is back up first, they trade punches, Saints collapses, Femi picks him up, Saints played possum, so Femi clotheslines him. Saint rolls him up for 2, ducks a clothesline, Femi launches him across the ring, Saints counters the Fall From Grace with a hurricanrana pin for 2, Femi hits a dropkick, and both men are down. Saints rolls out the ring in front of the announce table, Femi takes it apart, breaks the ref’s count, slams him onto the table, sets up for the powerbomb, but Saints counters with a DDT on the announce table! Saints uses the table to hit a tornado DDT on the floor, he gets on the apron, and Femi smacks him on the chest from the floor! Femi pushes him back into the ring, plants him with the FALL FROM GRACE, covers, and Saints kicks out at 2.99!! Saints counters another Fall From Grace with a DDT, hits another tornado DDT, covers, and gets the 1-2-3!!!!!!! WINNER and NEW NXT CHAMPION: RICKY SAINTS!!
WOW~! That was a shocking victory! I am in shock as well! Ricky Saints is the new NXT Champion, and he poses with the championship to close out the show.
