Ric Flair

In a rather nauseating case of the pot calling the kettle black, the attention seeking Ric Flair tweeted then deleted a comment about Jim Ross: “Jim Ross will always be Jim Ross, seeking attention. Focus on your recovery @JRsBBQ!” (He actually capitalized every word. I fixed it so it doesn’t look nearly as stupid.) After receiving immense blow back for his idiotic post he claimed some people “can’t take a joke from a 76 year old man.” Hey Naitch, if that’s your idea of a joke I’ve got news for you — it’s not funny. Also you shouldn’t call other people attention seeking when you mock people who have cancer because you damn well KNOW the kind of attention that’s going to bring. Hypocrite.

Via her latest vlog Thunder Rosa challenged Britt Baker to a hair vs. hair match: “I threw a challenge, just a little challenge, hair vs. hair against my nemesis Britt Baker. The reason why I’m doing it is, one, I know there is money on the table. Two, she’s bonded by blood with me. She cannot get rid of my name, no matter what happens. Ever. That gives me a lot of pleasure.”

Funeral services for Sabu (Terry Brunk) will be June 21st in Lansing, Michigan and the public is invited to attend. A GoFundMe for his funerary services is ongoing and the link has all of the details about time and place. An additional service in Las Vegas (where he had been living recently) will be held at a later date.

Priscilla Kelly f/k/a Gigi Dolin talks about her NXT run: “I had everything. Everything I worked so hard for so long to achieve and somewhere along the way, I lost myself. Almost entirely. I became a shell of the girl I knew. I didn’t even recognize the body I saw in the mirror. I had asked myself time and time again, did I even love this anymore? I had been through so much in my childhood and in my adult life that I thought surely nothing, and I mean nothing, could break me. But it did. I found myself picking up pieces of my dream, not knowing what glue would be strong enough to put it back together. Well, it turns out that glue was a torn and flipped meniscus on a Friday morning. I spent every day of my recovery putting myself back together. I came back with a vengeance and one goal. Show everyone what the hell I’m capable of. Break every assumption, every doubt. Bring back a part of me that I thought was dead and work my ass off until… I sat with my thoughts. It had felt like I had experienced a death. Maybe I did.” She also burned photos of herself in NXT while talking about her time there, which seems like a pretty clear statement to me.

Coincidentally enough Elayna Black f/k/a Cora Jade confirmed she’s now 100% free of her no compete clause and told her NXT persona “This was never your story. It was always mine.” Given the shocking releases of Carlito and R-Truth you can hardly blame other former WWE talent for distancing themselves from the company. Speaking of Truth though John Cena paid tribute to him on social media (as well he should).

In addition here’s Roxanne Perez singing her praises: “I feel like, when I look back at my NXT career, I just see Cora and how much she helped me, how much she helped me with my character work, and to be comfortable with who I am. My heel turn was close to us teaming up again together. So being able to do all of these promos with her and these backstages really brought out a different side of me and a more comfortable side, and a side that I had never really shown to the world or the crowd before. So yeah, I absolutely love Cora, and it’s hard to do it without her now, but I know she’s gonna absolutely kill it in whatever she decides to do. I think everybody should definitely keep an eye on Elayna Black because she’s gonna do some really cool things.”

Myron Reed says he’s okay even though he suffered a concussion against Dante Leon at a Pro Wrestling REVOLVER show.

TNA’s Tommy Dreamer is begging R-Truth to give him a call. Why not? His NWA-TNA run as Ron “The Truth” Killings was why I got into him in the first place.

To make a long story short Jay Leno says he trained for six weeks for his match at WCW Road Wild. Six more might have helped. To be fair though… I’ve seen worse.

To my surprise Deonna Purrazzo just revealed she’s had scoliosis and bulging discs in her back since childhood. Frankly I’m amazed she’s been able to wrestle all this time.

WWE is getting deeper into bed with Slim Jim and the meat snack’s logo will now appear on tables. So they’re getting that money but can’t keep R-Truth and Carlito??

Former WWE wrestler Big Vito claims he’s being ripped off by the Tony D’Angelo family from NXT: “Your own people have reached out to me, asking for help with ‘family’ storylines. Those ideas? Mine. Talent relations even called me, said I’d be ‘brought in’ down in Florida. Yet here I am – a 35-year veteran – watching WWE bury me while they rip off my gimmick wholesale. And yes, I’ve got the receipts to back up everything I’m saying here. So tell me: are we really going to keep doing this? Keep embarrassing Italians with this nonsense? Keep disrespecting my 35 years in this business? Stacks, I get it. Imitation is supposed to be the sincerest form of flattery. I’ve got a few old leather jackets if you need them, but I doubt you can pull off the bald look. Just remember: no matter who you put in the ‘costume,’ they’ll always be living in my shadow until I give my stamp of approval.”

Valhalla (Sarah Logan) is the latest to announce her imminent WWE departure.
