In this interview Randy Orton talks about the RKO Outta Nowhere meme: “Yeah, I just look at it like I’m lucky. Right place, right time. I had a great fans. I met Logan Paul for the first time, and it’s funny because he was a wrestling fan, but I don’t think he was following it quite as much – but he was aware of what the RKO was. That’s what he told me when I first met him, and I thought that was pretty funny. But to your point, it’s kind of like transcended wrestling and me and became a thing of its own.”

Saraya says she turned down a romance angle with Daddy Magic: “Daddy Magic, they wanted me to do a love story line with him. And I’ve managed to go on my whole career without doing a love storyline, and I wasn’t gonna start. They were like, ‘No, all he’s gonna do is kiss you.’ I had a boyfriend at the time, and I was just like, ‘I can’t do it, you guys. I just can’t do it.’ So I turned down that. There’s not really anything storyline wise else I’ve turned down. It’s just like, if I have to kiss someone and I have a boyfriend, I just don’t think it’s appropriate. I’ve never really had like them come up to me and be like, ‘What do you think of this? You want to kiss somebody today?’ I’ve never had that until I got to AEW. Then they were like, ‘Can you kiss Daddy Magic?’ I love Daddy Magic, good guy, but I just couldn’t do it. I couldn’t do it.”

Bea Priestly f/k/a Blair Davenport talks about her WWE release: “As soon as I got the call, I was like, ‘Oh, I can go back to being Bea again.’ {laughing} It’s one of those things, you don’t realize how unhappy you are until you feel happy that you got the call saying that you don’t have a job anymore. That was kind of the thing, I was like, ‘Oh, okay, maybe it was good for me to be fair.’ The actual outreach that I got from loads of people within WWE — it is what it is, I don’t take anything personally, it’s business, but I do think a lot of people felt bad for me because I just got called up, I didn’t even have a year on SmackDown or Raw or whatever. The amount of outreach I got from actual talent within the company basically saying how sorry they were and they wish me the best and they’re sure I’ll be back or be fine, it was nice to be like, ‘Oh wow, a lot of people do actually care about me.'” Coincidentally Priestly just appeared at NJPW Resurgence and beat Viva Van.
