The rap that Max Caster delivered on his way to the ring at Bound For Glory 2026 included this fateful line: “This the firing squad/I drop bombs, you don’t even have to fly to Riyadh.” The backlash both in and outside of TNA was almost immediate. All videos of his performance were scrubbed from their platforms and on demand replays and TNA released a statement: “During Sunday’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view, insensitive comments were made by Max Caster referencing attacks in Riyadh that killed and injured many people. Making light of violent attacks is wrong. This should never have made it into the show, and that responsibility is ours. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and everyone affected. We sincerely apologize. We have removed the segment from replays and our social channels and are taking steps to ensure something like this never happens again. Max Caster will no longer be wrestling for TNA. – TNA Wrestling, Monday, October 12”
Speaking of things being “in doubt” here’s what Dave Meltzer had to say about WWE holding Crown Jewel 2026 in Riyadh next month: “They’re going to cancel when they feel there’s no hope. Nobody wants to go, I mean let’s be serious, nobody wants to go right now. Everyone knows the situation, it’s high alert for people, no one is advised to go there right now. Most likely, the show will be moved but they’re not going to say anything until there’s no hope and whatever, and that may be this week. I mean they may look at that and go ‘There’s no hope.’ But they’ll fight it until whenever they make the decision, but I mean yeah, it ain’t looking good, it ain’t looking good at all but they’re not going to say anything. They’re not going to say anything until the day they say it isn’t happening. Could be any day now, they may hold out later.” (WO)
