Ian’s Post-Forbidden Door Dynamite Recap (In Progress)

AEW

Tonight (or actually last night, but I’m just getting around to it tonight because I was enjoying some maple-soaked shenanigans in my home country last night), we see the fallout of Forbidden Door, including Mark Briscoe’s cage-match-earned title shot against MJF! We’ll also see a Survival of the Fittest match for the TBS Championship, and hear from the Owen Hart Cup winners, as well as the returned Jay White!

They show a clip from after Forbidden Door. Renee asks Will Ospreay how it feels, he starts to talk about how good it feels, Jon Moxley interjects, checks in on Ospreay, Ospreay asks Mox what he meant when he said he was starting to see “it”. Mox says it can’t be explained in words, it can only be lived. He says the roster is full of people who pull each other down because of their own insecurities, and it’s up to them to protect the company. He then offers Ospreay a proper spot in the Death Riders. As Mox walks off, Kenny Omega tells Ospreay his performance was amazing, Ospreay says he knows he’s going to try to talk him out of joining the Death Riders, MJF then walks in, Kenny says he has next, MJF says he’ll see Ospreay at Wembley.
